We have Inter vs Fiorentina bet builder tips for you to indulge in, and considering it’s a repeat of last May’s Coppa Italia final that the Neroazurri won despite conceding after a few minutes, we may be in for a treat. The Sunday 17.30 clash is a real test of Fiorentina’s depth as, for the second week in a row, they’ll play a Conference League tie on Thursday.
Inter could not have wished for a better start to their Serie A campaign and have added defender Benjamin Pavard from Bundesliga superpower Bayern Munich to their already competitive squad.

Fiorentina would have wished for better preparation going into such a difficult game.
Having to overcome a 1-0 deficit in the second leg of their Conference League play-off against Rapid Wien could affect their fitness when they visit last year’s Champions League finalist on Sunday.
Against Lecce, Vincenzo Italiano made six changes from the team that lost in Austria, and his side tailed off in the second half after taking a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Fiorentina have plenty of options, especially up front, but will have to deal with Inter’s impetus.
The first two games have shown Simoni Inzaghi can count on a very solid structure and a system of play that highlights the physical and technical skills of players like Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries (one goal and one assist) and Lautaro Martinez (three goals, remember I told you he’s ‘streaky striker’).
Normally, at San Siro, Inter start games strongly and create goal-scoring opportunities from the beginning. But Fiorentina are not a defensive side and, as shown in the previous campaign, can also hurt Inter down the flanks.
Both Fiorentina games have been over 2.5 goals and ‘Both teams to score – Yes’, whereas Inter, so far, have produced exactly the opposite outcomes.
Newly signed goalkeeper Yann Sommer hasn’t had a difficult save to make as the Inter back three, still without Francesco Acerbi, have coped well, although they wobbled in the second half against Cagliari against the pace of Zito Luvumbo.
Nicolas Gonzalez (one goal and two assists against Inter) and Giacomo Bonaventura (five goals and five assists against the Milanese team in his career) are the type of players that can create problems for Inter’s defence with their quick twists and turns.
Fiorentina will play with a high defensive line and take some risks, but, as per last season, they won’t be intimidated by the atmosphere.
Moreover, last year, they were the top team in Serie A for corners taken, averaging over six per game and third for total shots. A busy night might be anticipated Sommer after all.
As Inter dominated their games against Monza and Cagliari, left wing-back Federico Dimarco was a constant threat. He provided the assist to Lautaro for Inter’s second goal in Sardinia and often pushed forward. On one occasion, in the second half against Cagliari, he occupied the centre-forward position.
Dimarco is a highly adaptable player with a great stride and pinpoint delivery.
His battle with Dodo and Nicolas Gonzalez will probably be one of the keys to this game, as Inter will often look to quickly switch the play to give the Italian international opportunities to bomb forward.
Dimarco scored six goals in all competitions last season, and he’s not afraid of hitting a shot from a distance. In his previous two seasons with Inter, he has averaged over 2.10 shots per game and always more than 0.5 shots on target per 90 minutes.
He’s also one of Inter’s free-kick takers alongside Hakan Çalhanoğlu.
