Liverpool might have ended the 2021/2022 campaign with two titles but there is an air of disappointment lingering, given how their season ended.

With a number of key names likely to leave, Liverpool are set for an important summer ahead of them. The Reds are famous for bargain buys and we will take a look at Liverpool’s transfer odds and the players who have the best transfer odds for the club.

What Players Should Liverpool Sign this Summer?

Without a doubt, Liverpool’s forward line leaves them with the most question marks as the transfer window goes into full swing.

The famous partnership of star trio Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane could be coming to an end. The latter is expected to leave the club this summer while Salah and Firmino have one year left on their contracts. Liverpool can choose to wait until January to get more clarity but we can expect them to jump at the chance of signing a much-younger quality forward this summer if it comes their way.

While their backline seems okay and good to go, they might need to make some additions in midfield but it will strongly depend on what happens with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Takumi Minamino.

Top 5 Players to Sign for Liverpool Transfer Odds

According to bookmakers, here are the players with the best odds to wear the Reds’ shirt next season:

  • Darwin Nunez
  • Serge Gnabry
  • Kalvin Phillips
  • Raphinha
  • Ruben Neves

All odds quoted are the best odds available as at 12:00 on June 6th 2022. Odds may now differ.

Liverpoool transfer odds for Darwin Nunez

Sadio Mane is seemingly on his way out of the club while Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah are out of contract next summer. Only few can replace any of the aforementioned names but a name that has caught the eye of late is Darwin Nunez.

The young striker enjoyed a brilliant season with Benfica and has already attracted interest from Europe’s top sides. His €80m valuation by the Portuguese giants has chased several suitors away but Liverpool and Manchester United remain firm favourites by the bookmakers to sign him, if he doesn’t remain at the club. Both sides have odds of 2.50 to land the 22-year-old.

Darwin Nunez is currently at odds 2.50 to sign with Liverpool

Serge Gnabry Liverpool Transfer Odds

Once upon a time, Tony Pulis claimed a young Serge Gnabry was not good enough for the Premier League but that statement turned out to be painfully wrong. The German has upped his game at Bayern Munich and is one of the club’s top performers.

He is out of contract next summer and is reportedly open to another stint in the Premier League. Since missing out on Kylian Mbappe, Liverpool have been favourites to sign almost every available winger and it is the same with Gnabry. Real Madrid are favourites to sign the 26-year-old with odds at 3.75 while Liverpool are not far off with odds at 4.00.

Serge Gnabry is currently at odds 4.00 to sign with Liverpool

Kalvin Phillips Liverpool Transfer Odds

Liverpool could lose a number of stars in midfield and it is only fitting that they will be on the lookout for potential replacements. They could turn to Leeds’ man Kalvin Phillips but interest in the player comes with a baggage, given the strong interest from other sides.

As per bookmakers, Manchester City are the top contenders to sign the 26-year-old, with odds of 1.57. The Citizens view him as a like-for-like replacement for the departing Fernandinho. Knowing Liverpool and their transfer strategy, they are unlikely to spend upwards of £50m on a midfielder and this explains why they are only the sixth favourites, with 16.00 odds.

Kalvin Phillips is currently at odds 16.00 to sign with Liverpool

Raphinha Liverpool Transfer Odds

If Kalvin Phillips could be seen as a mere necessity, his Leeds teammate in Raphinha is actually one that fits Liverpool’s high-energy style of football. The Brazilian bagged 11 Premier League goals last season and reports claim that Klopp has sights on him to come in as a replacement for Mane.

Barcelona are favourites to land the Leeds star, with odds of 1.50 but their financial situation at the moment puts a major question mark on those odds. Liverpool are the next likely side to land his signature, with odds of 6.00.

Raphinha is currently at odds 6.00 to sign with Liverpool
