Despite the top European leagues coming to an abrupt end, the football season over in the United States is in full swing. I’ve taken a look at the weekend’s fixtures then selected and previewed my favourite bets for bettingexpert News.

Colorado Rapids welcome Nashville to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in the early hours of Sunday morning as they look to continue an unbeaten home record, five wins and two draws from seven home matches has taken my fancy in getting behind them with a bet builder approach.
There have been just 12 goals in those seven games, 11 have been scored by Robin Fraser’s side which has seen them score in all but one fixture. Colorado Rapids have won all three home clashes in May without conceding a goal which gives good reading when getting them on side.
The hosts to avoid defeat, score at least one goal and there to be less than four goals in the 90 minutes is on offer at 1.85, I’m most certainly keen to get behind that.
Nashville have played nine times away from home this campaign, they’ve accumulated 11 points and have a negative goal difference of three. This bet builder has landed on five occasions this season on the road against Gary Smith’s side and with the hosts excellent record in Commerce City they should be expected to record another decent result.

CF Montreal v FC Cincinnati Best Bet

Heading over to the Saputo Stadium with my next selection as CF Montreal host Cincinnati with a goals based bet set to be the preferred angle.
BTTS and over 2.50 match goals have landed in all five home games for Wilfried Nancy’s side in front of the home fans this season. The visitors are on a good run of form themselves, four wins from the previous five will give them confidence knowing they can pick up a decent result.
The last time Cincinnati played here there were an incredible nine goals which ended 5-4 to the hosts and most recently these sides met only last month which saw CF Montreal take all three points in a 4-3 win so goals are often plentiful in this matchup.
BTTS is priced at 1.66 which is probably a little too short to take as a single but you can understand the price, however adding a third goal to the match boosts the price up massively into an even money play.
Cincinnati have scored in all of their last six MLS fixtures and have conceded on four separate occasions, with this bet yet to lose in Montreal this campaign I’m willing to get behind it once again.

Real Salt Lake v Houston Dynamo Best Bet

Corners seem to be the best play as Real Salt Lake welcomes Houston Dynamo to the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy. The hosts corner averages for and Houston’s averages against tempted me to side with Pablo Mastroeni’s men.
RSL have taken 6+ corners in four games from five at home in the MLS season, they are taking 6.20 for per 90 on average.
The averages are even more in our favour when it comes to Houston Dynamo, they have also played five games away from the PNC Stadium this campaign which has seen them concede 6+ corners in four games from those five conceding 7.80 on average.
The price is 1.83 for the home side to take six or more corners in the clash which seems more than reasonable. These sides met on the last day of February in Houston where 17 corners were taken on the day with eight being awarded to RSL.
Mastroeni’s men have been impressive at home this campaign on all fronts, four victories and a score draw from five sets them up in a strong position in the table and they should be more than capable in hitting a good amount of corners over the 90 minutes.
