Montreal Impact vs Orlando City Best Bet

Orlando City and Montreal Impact are closely matched in the Eastern Conference after nine games. Orlando have a three-point advantage over Montreal but Impact have played a game less.

Montreal have scored in all five of their home matches this season and they will be keen to win here to close the gap on their competitive rivals. The team are averaging 1.8 goals per game across their home matches, so I’m happy to back them to score here. It is worth noting that Orlando’s defensive record has been stellar away from home so far this season. Oscar Pareja’s side have kept three clean sheets in their four matches on the road, but they have only faced one team in the top 10 of the overall MLS table so far.

Montreal to score isn’t a price worth taking as a single, so I’ll be adding a corners angle to create a better price. As previously mentioned, I expect Montreal to continue their rich vein of attacking form here and this should lead to the team winning corners. The team have had seven, six, seven, one and seven corners in their home matches this season, so I’m more than happy to back them to have a few here.

bet365 have Montreal to score and have over four corners in the match priced at a nice 1.86. The corners sailed in the last two times these teams met. The only concern is that Montreal were unable to score on both of those occasions, but they seem to be much improved going forward in the early stages of this season.

Atlanta United vs Chicago Fire Best Bet

The recent meetings between these two teams have seen a heap of goals. There has been an average of 3.4 goals per game across the last five times they have faced each other.

Atlanta United’s home matches so far this season have been goal fests for the most part. One of their five home games finished 0-0 but there has still been an average of 3.8 goals per game over that period. Chicago Fire’s matches are seeing far less goals than Atlanta’s so far this season, but I’m still happy to back goals given the head-to-head stats on the goals.

The Portland Timbers’ away form is also poor. They have won just one of their five away matches and are averaging a goal a game in that period, so signs are that chances may be limited for both sides here.
