Heading to Iceland with my opening selection as runaway league leaders host 3rd spot Vikingur, the home side have been invincible in Kopavogur this season and I’m backing them once again to have success in front of goal.

Breidablik have won all seven games in their stadium this campaign, scoring 25 times and conceding just eight. They’ve scored three goals or more on every occasion and have also scored after the break in every one of those matches also.

When these sides met in the reverse fixture in the middle of May Breidablik left with three points after a 3-0 win which saw all three goals come after the break.

Given the hosts’ impressive goal-scoring record at home, the price on offer for them to continue that streak definitely stood out., Vikingur wont be an easy task but it’s clear that when sides visit Breidablik, they’re always up against it.

Getafe v Atletico Madrid Preview

The Coliseum Alfonso Perez is the destination for my second selection. Getafe host Atletico Madrid, a card-based angle certainly stood out after seeing that these sides were set to meet but the prices are extremely short as you would expect.

Interestingly, these sides met in the opening game of the 19/20 season which saw two red cards, both of these coming inside the first 45 minutes. In the last 8 league meetings between the sides, a red card has been brandished in seven of those matches which is truly astonishing.

When the card market needs seven or more bookings to land a decent-priced winner it seems a little steep when a red card price is on offer at 3.40, it’s clear these teams have hatred towards one another and things get feisty more often than not.

A red card to be shown is a nice price, backing either side to see red is a juicy 34.00 which may be worth a punt given that it did land very early on a few seasons back.

Sassuolo visit Turin in my final selection as the Allianz Arena sets up what could be quite an entertaining clash on Monday night. The recent head-to-head stats have been very healthy for goals. All of the clashes in the three previous league seasons saw both sides score.

Massimiliano Allegri has added a number of players to his squad that were definitely needed after finishing 4th last campaign. Paul Pogba has returned whilst Di Maria has joined on a free which is great business whilst Europa League winner Filip Kostic is the most recent player who has joined the Italian giants.

Juventus v Sassuolo Best Bet

I do believe Juventus will begin the season with a victory, over the last five competitive meetings between the clubs Juventus have won with both teams scoring landing on four occasions.

Sassuolo scored 37 times on the road last campaign and conceded 36 in just 19 matches, they should fancy their chances but ultimately the home side should be strong enough to win the match.
