However, only two losses stand as the only blemishes this season. In said 14 games, a defeat to title challengers Lillestøm and Gulskogen-based Strømsgodset, who sit just a point behind the Troillongan, indicates it’s not all doom and gloom at the Lerkendal Stadion.

To avoid defeat once more against a travelling Tromso is first in my bet builder. Tromso are yet to win an away game from their six outings on the road. At the Lerkendal Stadion, Rosenborg remains unbeaten and boasts four wins from six and two draws.

I’m not the biggest advocate of betting on friendlies, but there’s often an intriguing price or two available on sides preparing for the impending season opener. In this instance, we find ourselves in Perth, Australia.
