Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich: Delightful Die Klassiker

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 30th November, 17:30 (UK)

Die Klassiker is certainly the one to watch this weekend. Borussia Dortmund have won all eight of their home matches across all competitions this season and they have done it in style. Nuri Sahin’s team have scored an average of 3.25 goals in those matches. It’s their torrid away form that has let them down.

Bayern Munich have taken a commanding lead in the title race. They are six points clear of their closest rivals and nine clear of the defending champions. Vincent Kompany has the team singing from the same hymn sheet and they are spearheaded by an in-form Harry Kane.

Borussia Dortmund are averaging 19 shots per competitive game at Singal Iduna Park this season. They have played six home matches in the league and those have seen an average of 27.83 attempts overall. Sahin’s team have had the majority of those attempts but they face another menacing attacking outfit here.

The Bavarians are averaging 19.83 shots per away game. They are conceded just five on average but that figure should increase against Dortmund. There were 29 shots in this fixture last season and we should see plenty once again.

  • Selection: Over 27.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Heidenheim vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Visitors Affording Opponents Chances to Shoot

Germany, Bundesliga, Sunday, 1st December, 16:30 (UK)

Heidenheim have their noses above the relegation playoff ahead of this weekend’s fixtures. They have picked up 10 points from their 11 matches. They surprised everyone by qualifying for this season’s Europa Conference League but the extra fixtures seem to having a detrimental impact on their domestic form.

Eintracht Frankfurt are in fine form. They have won their last three games in the Bundesliga and climbed to 2nd in the table. Dino Toppmoller’s side beat Stuttgart 3-2 in their last away game in the league and will fancy their chances of securing another win here.

Frank Schmidt’s side are averaging 13.09 shots per league game. This increases to 14.4 when playing in front of their own fans so over 12.5 shots for Heidenheim appeals for this clash.

Frankfurt may be taking the league by storm but their opponents have had plenty of opportunities to test Kevin Trapp. Toppmoller’s team have conceded 17.09 shots per league game on average. This is a stark contrast to last season when they conceded just 12.32.

  • Selection: Over 12.5 Shots For Heidenheim (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Bologna vs Venezia: Opportunities Scarce for Venezia

Italy, Serie A, Saturday, 30th November, 19:45 (UK)

Bologna qualified for the Champions League by finishing 5th with Thiago Motta at the helm last season. Motta has since departed and was replaced with Vincenzo Italiano. The team find themselves 8th in Serie A, seven points behind the pack that are competing for the European places after drawing six of their 10 league games.

Venezia have struggled on the road. They are yet to record an away victory in the current campaign. Eusebio Di Francesco’s side sit at the very bottom of the league but they are just three points from safety coming into the weekend.

Italiano’s side are yet to taste defeat on home soil and that is largely to do with their defensive solidity. They are yet to concede two goals in a home game. They are conceding an average of 9.8 shots in those matches but that reduces to just 6.5 if we exclude the clash with Atalanta in which Bologna conceded 23 shots.

Venezia has just eight attempts in this fixture last season. They have also struggled to have attempts in their more recent away games. Di Francesco’s side have had nine shots or less in four of their last five away Serie A matches.

  • Selection: Under 9.5 Shots For Venezia (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Barcelona vs Las Palmas: The Balugrana in Control

Spain, La Liga, Saturday, 30th November, 13:00 (UK)

Barcelona are top of the tree in Spain but they have opened the door for Real Madrid in recent weeks. The Balugrana have dropped five points in their last two games but both were away from home. Barca have a perfect record at the Camp Nou this season, winning all eight of their competitive matches.

Las Palmas became the first team to sack their manager after dismissing Luis Carrion. Diego Martinez was the man to replace him and results have picked up under the new boss. El Pio-Pio have won three of their five La Liga games under the new boss but a trip to Barcelona is as tough as it gets.

Hansi Flick has transformed Barcelona in a short space of time. His team are a lethal attacking outfit but they are also able to restrict their opponent’s chances. The Blaugrana are conceding an average of just 6.75 shots per home game across all competitions this season. Our bet has won in four of their five league games at the Camp Nou.

Las Palmas are averaging 11.3 shots per game in the league but they’ve had significantly fewer attempts in their clashes with the bigger teams. They have faced both Real and Atletico Madrid, managing just eight shots across the two games.

  • Selection: Under 8.5 Shots For Las Palmas (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Real Madrid vs Getafe: Ancelotti’s Men Must Make a Statement

Spain, La Liga, Saturday, 30th November, 13:00 (UK)

Real Madrid slumped to defeat at Anfield midweek and a place in the top eight of the Champions League is almost beyond their reach. However, the picture in La Liga is more promising. They come into the weekend four points behind Barcelona having played a game less. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have also won their last two league games, scoring seven goals and conceding none.

Getafe are 15th in the table with a total of 13 points but they are yet to win a game on the road. Jose Bordalas’ side beat Valladolid last weekend but taking three points from the Santiago Bernabeu will prove to be a much sterner test.

Los Blancos have had the most shots in La Liga this season with an average of 16.15 per game. They will want to respond after their defeat in the Champions League so expect their attack to come out swinging. Real managed 18 shots in their last home game.

Getafe are conceding just 11.5 shots per away game but they haven’t fared well at this ground in recent times. Geta Azulones have lost their last 10 at the Bernabeu and conceded 26 shots in this fixture last season.

  • Selection: Over 16.5 Shots For Real Madrid (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Real Sociedad vs Real Betis: Los Verdiblancos Get Their Shots Away

Spain, La Liga, Saturday, 30th November, 20:00 (UK)

Real Sociedad have endured a difficult start to the season. They won just one of their opening seven league games. Just as they put together a good sequence of results, the team suffered defeat in the Basque Derby last weekend.

Real Betis are one place and two points ahead of Sociedad coming into this clash. They are without a win in their last three league games and have recorded just one La Liga victory on the road this season.

Sociedad are conceding an average of 11.29 shots per game in the current La Liga campaign. This drops to 10.86 at the Reale Arena but that average would still be enough to see this bet land.

Betis are averaging 14.57 shots per league game and 10.71 per away game. They had 12 shots in this fixture last season. In fact, this bet has won in the last four head-to-heads between the sides.

  • Selection: Over 9.5 Shots For Real Betis (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10
