An intriguing weekend ahead across several leagues in South America offers plenty of value. In Bolivia, Libertad Gran Mamore’s horrendous away form doesn’t look likely to change, while Nacional Potosi’s home form continues to catch the eye. Over in Brazil, Botafogo will look to maintain a sizable gap at the top of Serie A.

A once great in Bolivia, Wilstermann famously beat River Plate 3-0 in the Libertadores 2017 quarter-finals. They are a long way off those big nights at present, but three points are expected on Saturday evening.
Wilstermann will face Libertad Gran Mamore, who have failed to cope with the demands of the top flight. In fact, one point on the road from a possible 27 shows their inability to compete. They’ve only found the back of the net six times on the road, which surprisingly isn’t the worst. However, conceding 31 certainly is. In fact, it is nine more than Vaca Diez who are also finding life tough this season.
Although the home side aren’t in scintillating form themselves, they’ve improved massively at home in recent weeks. Four wins and two draws keeps them honest enough in the middle of the pack. The away side, who’ll look to put numbers behind the ball, have proven time and time again they don’t know how to approach away games.
Another key pointer for this match was the fact both met in the cup midweek. Wilstermann ran out 2-0 winners, proving to be the more clinical side.
For this reason, it seems sensible to back Wilstermann to come out on top and continue to climb the table.

After seven home wins on the bounce, Nacional Potosi sits third in the league, only four points behind The Strongest. With the best home form out of all 17 teams, there’s no surprise to see them make the acca this weekend.
However, they aren’t just winning at home. Nacional Potosi put six past Guabira before hammering title contenders The Strongest 6-3 and Always Ready 4-0. A total of 22 goals in their last five home matches is frightening form, to say the least.
Martin Prost, who transferred from The Strongest, continues to show age is just a number. The 35-year-old is Nacional’s joint top goalscorer with 11 to his name. One year older than him is Tommy Tobar, who’s also bagged 11 goals this season, closing in on his impressive tally of 23 last campaign.
Aurora have been in good form. They’re in fifth spot, just six points behind Nacional; they’ll be confident with only three other sides conceding less than them. They held The Strongest in La Paz, as well as only suffering a 1-0 defeat to Bolivar on the road. Their five-man midfield has proven tough to break down, but Nacional Potosi simply blows away teams on their own patch.

Botafogo continues to go from strength to strength and, so far, maintains a sizable gap at the top of Serie A. A healthy 12-point lead is significant at this stage, but Botafogo will know there are plenty of matches still to play.
A dugout change may be the turning point for the Brazilians, with head coach Luis Castro lured to manage Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr. A fellow Portuguese has come in to pick up Castro’s masterpiece so far, and it’ll be former Wolves manager Bruno Lage who will be hoping to add the finishing touch.
A trip to Santos will be his first port of call, but with the club facing a stadium ban, Botafogo will have the luxury of no home fans to put them off.
Aside from the no fans aspect, Santos have been in dire form. A 3-0 loss to Cuiaba and a 4-1 defeat to Sao Paulo saw too many basic errors from Paulo Turra’s side. Both teams carved straight through Santos’ backline.
Turra did manage a victory in between, where a controversial 95th-minute penalty secured three points against Goias. However, conceding three against a side in the relegation zone again proved how vulnerable Santos are defensively.
There have been rumours this week that the Santos camp is not a happy one, with a recent BBQ put on by Turra to help bond the players ending in failure. Most ate and left, and training hasn’t been joyful either.
In contrast, Botafogo are flying. Not only have they won their last six Serie A matches, but they also kept a clean sheet in each. Midweek they advanced to the next round of the Sudamericana, and with Serie A’s top goalscorer Tiquinho Soares fit and firing, Botafogo looks a great price on Sunday.

A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
