River Plate come into this match on the back of a defeat against Talleres de Cordoba and they will be keen to bounce back with a win here. CA Tucuman have been in rotten form this season and have recorded just the on victory in their 11 matches.
CA Tucuman haven’t beaten River Plate in the last seven meetings between the sides, and the home sides superiority is reflected in the betting for this one. Therefore, I think it’s best to get River Plate dominance on side for our best bet here.
Marcelo Gallardo’ side have earned plaudits for their attacking football in recent years and this has meant the manager has been linked with some big jobs in Europe. This attacking trend has continued so far this season, with River scoring in 10 of their 13 matches. In contrast, CA Tucuman have only managed to keep one clean sheet so far this season, so we can expect the home side to get on the scoresheet here.

CA Plentense are another side that come into this weekends round of fixtures in very poor form. They are without a win in their last eight matches and they have lost seven of those. They are conceding an average of two goals per game in that period and have failed to find the net themselves in five.
Defensa y Justicia come into the match on the back of three games without a win. They started the season brightly but need to return to winning ways against their lacklustre opponents here. Bet 365 have Defensa priced at 1.57 to win the match and this is a fair price given the torrid form of their opponents. Defensa also won the last meeting between these sides 2-1 in October last year.
