Fortaleza vs Palmeiras Best Bet

Brazil, Serie A, Sunday 10th July, 22:00 (UK Time)

It’s top versus bottom in Brazil on Sunday night as Palmeiras head to Fortaleza hoping to get back to winning ways after suffering a shock 2-0 defeat at home last weekend.

The visitors have yet to lose on the road this campaign in seven matches, winning four and drawing three however they have found the back of the net in all except one.

Fortaleza have racked up plenty of corners in their eight home matches this season and are averaging 7.25 for per 90 minutes whereas Palmeiras boast a very respectable 5.86 on average on the road.

With both sides strong averages for corners at home and away respectively this for sure looks like a nice angle to get behind. If either side goes behind they’ll be putting plenty of pressure on which may hopefully lead to a fair few corner kicks, 10 match corners is available to back at an appealing price.

Corinthians vs Flamengo Best Bet

Brazil, Serie A, Sunday 10th July, 20:00 (UK Time)

I was quite surprised to see Corinthians priced so highly at home as they welcome Flamengo at the Neo Quimica Arena in Sao Paulo.The head to head matches could maybe be an indication as to why Flamengo arrive here as favourites but recent results should suggest otherwise.

Dorival Junior’s side have only won twice in eight away trips in the league this season and have a minus four goal difference whilst its a different story for the hosts. Four wins and three draws across Corinthians’ seven home matches sees them currently in 4th spot, four places above last year’s runners up.

The hosts have not lost at home in all competitions in 18 matches which has seen them win on 12 occasions. Given they can manage to avoid defeat on Sunday night we’ll walk away with some profit, which seems a little too generous from the bookmakers.

Flamengo have yet to replicate the same level of performances from recent seasons so it’s hard to turn away from getting onside with the hosts in Brazil’s Serie A.

Racing Club vs Independiente Best Bet

Argentina Liga Profesional, Sunday 10th July, 19:30 (UK Time)

A trip over to Argentina for my final selection as Racing Club host Independiente at the Estadio Juan Domingo Perón in Avellaneda in round seven of the Liga Profesional.

The hosts have started the new season at home in perfect style, three wins from three and are yet to concede a goal and are nicely priced to extend that record against a side they’ve beaten in four of the last five meetings.

Indpendiente have accumulated just a single point from three away trips and have lost back to back matches. The most recent game saw them lose 3-1 despite playing against 10 men for 75 minutes.

Racing Club finished in top spot after 14 games in the Copa De La Liga Profesional which saw them beat their upcoming opponents who ended the competition in 10th.

Given Racing Club’s great start to the season in front of the home fans and recent success in this matchup, they will be confident that three points can be earned with a strong performance as they look to climb the table.
