There is a lot of football to get stuck into on Tuesday. We’ve analysed the action from Serie A to League Two to find you the best bets. There are also matches in the FA Cup as the pursuit of silverware continues for all of the sides left in the competition.
In this article:
Italy, Serie A, Tuesday, February 28th, 19:45 (UK)
Juventus welcome their local rivals, Torino, to the Allianz Stadium. Allegri’s side have done well on the field in recent months despite a tumultuous time in the boardroom. The club continues to plead their innocence and they will want to pick up as many points as possible just in case their points deduction is rescinded. The Old Lady currently sit 13 points behind fourth place.
Torino are a point behind Juventus and could leapfrog them in the table here. They have won just two of their 11 competitive matches in 2023. They have also failed to beat Juventus in any of the last 17 meetings.
Juventus bounced back after a poor display in the home leg against Nantes to secure their qualification to the last 16 of the Europa League. The Italian giants won 3-0 and should carry that confidence into this one.
Allegri’s side have won 11 of their last 14 matches in Serie A. They have looked good defensively; conceding an average 0.71 goals per game. Torino won their first two away games of the season but have won two of the 10 plates since then. Juve have kept eight clean sheets in the 12 home league matches they have played in Serie A. Torino look set for a torrid evening on Tuesday.
England, FA Cup, Tuesday, February 28th, 19:45 (UK)
Fulham have done very well this season. Marco Silva has his team in 6th place and is a contender for Premier League manager of the season. A good run in the FA Cup would give the Fulham faithful even more to shout about. The club hasn’t gone further in this competition since the 2009/10 season.
Leeds recorded a much-needed victory in Javi Garcia’s first game in charge. The win saw them climb out of the relegation zone. They will be looking to build some momentum ahead of a pivotal few months for the club.
Fulham have struggled to keep clean sheets in their recent matches at home. They have kept just one clean sheet at Craven Cottage in their last seven, despite the fact they have lost just two of these matches. Over the course of the season, they are conceding 1.29 goals per game at home.
Leeds are averaging 1.2 goals per game on the road. They didn’t create an abundance of chances against Southampton but still managed to find the net. The cup should mean there is less pressure on the relegation-threatened side and we could see a more end-to-end game. The last time these two met, Fulham won 3-2.
England, League Two, Tuesday, February 28th, 19:45 (UK)
Salford are still in the hunt for that elusive promotion to League One. They are just five points behind the automatic promotion places and are fending off the chasing pack who are gunning for the playoffs.
Barrow are 11th in the table but just five points separate them and Tuesday’s opponents. A win here would see them move to within touching distance of the playoff if results elsewhere go their way. The Bluebirds haven’t beaten Salford in any of the last five meetings between the sides.
Salford’s seven away matches since Christmas day are averaging 4.14 goals per game; with the Ammies averaging just 0.14 more goals than their opponents. The Ammies’ matches away from home in all competitions this season are averaging 2.95 goals per game.
Barrow’s home matches in all competitions are averaging 2.2 goals per game; below the required mark for this bet. However, the price on offer is generous given the visitors’ recent matches. Barrow were in fine scoring form at home prior to the break in the season. Defeat here could see their season fizzle out so expect them to put their best foot forward.

A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Premier League accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
