It was not a great weekend for those who like to back underdogs. In fact there was not one single 1X2 outcome across the major leagues of Europe that paid out at double digits.

In the Premier League the biggest surprise result was Watford’s win over Everton. The 5-2 result paid out at odds of 4.75 with the correct score paying out at the stunning odds of 451.0.

It was also another weekend where the big three of the Premier League dominated. Liverpool’s 5-0 smashing of Manchester United paid 81.0 for correct score backers. Chelsea’s 7-0 mockery of Norwich likewise paid 81.0 for the correct score while Manchester City 4-1 win away at Brighton odds of 23.0 for the correct score.

In outright betting, Man City remains just short of even money to win the league, while Liverpool sits at odds of 3.75 and Chelsea at odds of 4.33.
