It’s an unbelievable quarterback matchup on Sunday evening, with Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen facing off for the fourth time in their careers. We take a look at the Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills game and give the latest value betting picks & predictions.
Our American Football expert Joshua Jones has his best value pick for tonight’s game, but if you want more from our experts, check out our Expert Insights section.
In this article:
Josh Allen was phenomenal in Buffalo’s defeat in Philadelphia, totalling over 400 yards of offence and four combined touchdowns in a performance that deserved a win.
The 6’5” QB has not only displayed great work with his arm but he’s been putting his legs to work too – racking up an impressive nine rushing scores on the year (second only to Jalen Hurts).
Allen added to his season tally with a brace against the Eagles, and should be looking to do the same here against a Kansas City defence that has looked solid against pass-catchers.

The Chiefs struggled on Sunday Night Football in a shocking loss to the Green Bay Packers, allowing Jordan Love to pass for 267 yards and three TDs in a 27-19 victory.
They failed to cover the spread for the fifth time already this season, falling to 7-5-0 ATS, partly due to their issues at receiver and the alarming number of dropped passes they’ve totalled.
Kansas City leads the league in both dropped passes (30) and pass-drop rate (6.7%) with Rashee Rice the worst offender, having dropped seven (12.7%) of his targets.
In spite of this, Kansas City remains the bookmakers’ favourite to win the AFC at 3.80, though their odds have lengthened to win the Super Bowl – dropping to 4th favourite at 8.00.
The Buffalo Bills have had two weeks to stew on their devastating overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and will be looking to exact revenge on their AFC arch-nemesis.
Buffalo are just 4-8-0 against the spread this season, having only covered once since Week 4, and are at risk of missing out on the playoffs altogether.
They face the 9th hardest remaining strength of schedule, including games against both divisional rival Miami Dolphins and the rampant Dallas Cowboys.
At 6-6, the Bills are a huge outsider to win the AFC Championship – with odds of 21.00 currently on offer. They are 17.0 to win the AFC East, and a longshot to win the Super Bowl at 41.00.
This game has been selected by Sky Sports and will air at 21:25 on Sunday Evening on Sky Sports NFL.
