We have a mouth-watering clash to look forward to on Sunday afternoon and we’ve got Arsenal vs Brighton bet builder tips ready for this one on May 14th.
The home side will be looking to keep their title hopes alive whilst hoping for a slip-up from Manchester City who play Everton directly before this fixture.
For Brighton, a European qualification spot looks a distinct possibility. Three points here would make them strong favourites to be appearing in the Europa League next term.

It’s two weeks since Arsenal were swept aside by an imperious Manchester City side that looked to have all but wrapped up a fifth title in six years. The fear was that the Gunners would wilt in the aftermath of a chastening defeat and limp over the line at the season’s end. Those fears were unfounded and Mikel Arteta’s side have responded in resilient fashion.
Firstly, an emphatic dismissal of Chelsea at the Emirates. A result many argued they expected. But last weekend saw the Gunners pass a really tough examination. Not only surviving a white-hot atmosphere at Newcastle but proceeding to take all three points. Eddie Howe’s side had won eight of their last nine fixtures. Losing once in 20 prior home games this season. A reminder to their rivals they are not going away and Peps men will have to win the title rather than have it handed to them. The North London outfit goes into this weekend a point behind the league leaders but having played a game more.
Arsenal will be looking for a favour from an Everton side that produced one of the shock results of the season on Bank Holiday Monday. Brighton were on the receiving end of that shock. Falling behind after just 33 seconds before conceding a further four goals in a 5-1 mauling to Sean Dyche’s relegation-threatened strugglers.
Roberto De Zerbi certainly tried his best to turn the tide. The Italian made four substitutions at halftime but to no avail. The Seagulls boss lamented his side’s mentality and believed they were still reminiscing about the dramatic late victory over Manchester United in the previous game. He has called on his team to “improve very fast” but has warned we will see the true Brighton at the Emirates Stadium where they will show their quality.
Only Manchester City have a better points-per-game return on home soil this season than the Gunners’ 2.47. Their response to the defeat at the Etihad gives me the confidence to support them here against a dangerous Brighton side. Mikel Arteta has seen his team win five of their last six home games scoring at least three goals in all of those fixtures. Considering their league position and strong record in front of their own fans we can get a nice price on an Arsenal win here to lay a solid foundation for this builder.
I’m using bet365 for my selections. Utilising the Early Payout feature so if Arsenal take a two-goal lead at any time in this match that line of the builder will be marked as a win regardless of the final score outcome. Handy should Arsenal get a touch of title jitters and also given the scoring power of the Seagulls. This brings me to the second leg.
Both teams to Score looks like a must-add. BTTS has landed in 14 of Arsenal’s 17 home league games so far. At 82% by far the highest of any side in the English top flight. Remarkably they have only kept three clean sheets at the Emirates this term.
Brighton games have seen goals galore since the arrival of de Zerbi. His 27 league games in charge have seen an incredible 92 goals at an average of 3.41 per fixture. With 48 of those coming in away games the average when on the road actually rises to 3.69.
Of his 13 away games in the hot seat 11 have seen both teams score including 10 of the most recent 11. Across the whole season, no side has seen both teams on the scoresheet in away games more than Brighton’s 13 of 16 (81%). The Seagulls have only failed to score in one of those road games.
