I’ve gone for a Sunday afternoon bet builder at odds of 13.00 as Arsenal play host to Leicester. With the Gunners profiting from misfortune elsewhere last weekend, they will look to solidify their advantage in the quest for Champions League football next season.
In this Article:
Although the race for 4th sees Arsenal firmly in the driving seat at present, there is a sense that they also find themselves in a false position. Although they have a number of games in hand over their rivals, those games in hand look incredibly difficult.
Which is why banking so many points beforehand has been hugely important for the Gunners and with them largely coming out on top in recent weeks, it looks as if Mikel Arteta’s men are looking to create something of an insurance policy before their midweek meeting with Liverpool.
However, before the red half of North London go toe to toe with the red half of Merseyside, they must first deal with a Leicester side that is going through something of a resurgence at present. With another win in Europe now notched up, it seems as if the Foxes are on the hunt for more.
Admittedly European qualification through traditional means has all but passed them by for this season. Success on the continental front has not and with outright victory in the Europa Conference League paying out entry to their Europa League above, that is now their main priority.

That is not to say that Leicester will be taking Premier League matters lightly between now and May and their last two outings are evidence of staying clear of the beach for now. While at the same time, manager Brendan Rodgers cannot afford anything in the way of a slump down the table.
Because it is perhaps fair to say, that the only thing keeping the Ulsterman in King Power employment, is the fact that Leicester are still an ongoing concern on Thursday night and were it not continual progress in the Europa Conference League, a difficult decision may well have been made.
A decision that has been avoided for now and when it comes to making choices, Rodgers must also decide whether to unleash Kelechi Iheanacho from the start or continue with Patson Daka in attack from the off.
If the latter is given the nod, he may well be worth a punt in the anytime goalscorer market and at odds of 4.00 to score at the Emirates, it is certainly worth your consideration between now and kick-off.
Of course, with hosts Arsenal favourites to win this one, odds of 1.50 to come out on top will not put too much of a dent in the bookmakers’ bank accounts and therefore, opting for the win and both teams to score at 3.10 seems rather more appealing.
Bet Builder is available at 13.00 Odds.
Although Leicester are always good to bloody the nose of their opposition, I am not sure they will have enough for the knockout blow. That is why I have gone for both teams to score, Bukayo Saka scoring at least one for Arsenal, as the Gunners win at the interval and the final whistle and under six cards at the Emirates.

A bet builder is a kind of accumulator bet solely focussed on one match. A standard acca features multiple selections across different selections combined together into one bet. If one selection loses, the whole bet loses. A bet builder is similar but each selection is placed on the same match. Similar to the American prop bet, the bet builder goes into detail on a single match. Common selections include match outcome, total goals, cards, corners, and players to score.
