Liverpool were once again expected to be Manchester City’s only rivals for the title. But their start to the season has been far from straightforward. Although a convincing win over Rangers in the Champions League on Tuesday a timely boost to their confidence. The Reds have been shaky at the back highlighted perfectly in their last league outing.
