Arsenal vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips: 3.75 Builder for Tonight's Potential Title Decider

Arsenal vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips: Wednesday, February 15th
We’ve got Arsenal vs Manchester City bet builder tips for this crucial Premier League clash. The Gunners are in the midst of a wobble in the Premier League without a win in two. A defeat here will see City leapfrog them and go top for the first time since matchday 2. It’s what former Gunners defender Mikael Silvestre told me this week is “the first leg” of a couple of fixtures that will have a big say in which team wins this title.

Arsenal vs Manchester City Preview
England, Premier League, Wednesday, February 15th, 19:30 (UK)
Premier League fixtures don’t get much bigger than this. There are so many routes into this fascinating clash. It’s the title holders against the usurpers as the Gunners aim to stop City from winning a fifth title in six seasons. It’s the master against the apprentice as Pep Guardiola prepares to take on his former assistant, Mikel Arteta. There’s also a David vs Goliath angle in there somewhere. A club aiming to win its first title for almost 20 years that started the season at 17.00 to lift the trophy in May and has sat top since mid-August.
Whichever way we look at it, it’s 1st against 2nd with three points between them. The winner will end the night atop the table and it will be hard to count against them staying there. Whoever earns the three points.
The Gunners have been imperious this season but are wobbling. No wins in two for the first time this season. Mikel Arteta’s side will feel aggrieved given the manner of Brentford’s equaliser on Saturday but that won’t matter.
If Manchester City are to flick that switch and go on one of them runs, now’s a good time to start. They’ve been in similar situations over the last few years. Last season they didn’t go top until matchday 15 but stayed there until May. The year before it took them until matchday 20 to climb to 1st but again, they stayed there until the end.
Still, this isn’t the same City of old, especially on the road. The defeat at Tottenham on February 5th means consecutive Premier League defeats away from home. They’ve travelled to four of the other big six teams already this season and lost three of them. If the Premier League table only looked at away form, City would be 6th.

I’m expecting this record to change here. Arsenal should put their last two results behind them and get something out of this match. City’s style of play won’t cause as many problems to the Gunners as the low blocks of Everton and Brentford. I expect them to get something from this match with the double chance.
But it should be an entertaining one. That’s usually what happens at the Emirates Stadium. Both teams have scored in 80% of Arsenal’s home matches this campaign. I don’t expect that to change here.
Those two selections alone create a decent bet builder at 2.60 but I’m looking at the card market to boost those odds. The Bet Builder section on bet365 offers plenty of freedom when it comes to the card market. We can add over/under/exactly for anywhere from zero to 14 total cards in the match. That can also be customised to the entire match, or just the first or second half.
That gives us plenty of flexibility. Unders is the play but it’s about deciding where to draw the line and for which market. Using the bet365 Bet Builder, we can also change the market to cards for each team. Selecting the time period as the whole match, we can add a couple of other selections that boost the bet builder odds up nicely.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City have been handed over 3.5 cards in just 5% of their respective matches this season. City have earned an average of just 1.09 cards per match this season, the lowest in the division. The Gunners have earned just 1.62, far below the league average. Adding under 4 cards for each team in the match pushes those odds up.
Thanks to the Winnings Boost on the bet365 Bet Builder, these odds go up even higher. It’s 3.75 for the standard selection but a 25% Winnings Boost pushes it up to 4.42.
- Match Result will be Arsenal or Draw
- Both Teams to Score – Yes
- Under 4 Cards in the Match for Arsenal
- Under 4 Cards in the Match for Manchester City
Bet Builder odds: 3.75
