Acca odds: 5.66

Odds via bet365 as at 12:55, October 26th 2023. Odds may now differ.

Stuttgart vs Hoffenheim: No Guirassy, No Problem

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, October 28th, 14:30 (UK)

Stuttgart continued their remarkable start last weekend with a convincing 3-0 win over Union Berlin away from home. The team were expected to finish in the bottom half prior to the season’s curtain-raising, but as we approach the 10-game mark, they are in touch with the league leaders.

Hoffenheim have also enjoyed a strong start. The club haven’t looked this threatening since Julian Nagelsmann departed for RB Leipzig, but they are back competing near the top. The visitors come into this game in 6th place and six points behind Stuttgart.

The home side have scored 16 goals across their four matches at the MHP Arena. Stuttgart are averaging 16.5 shots per game in the process. When they welcomed Hoffenheim to this ground last season, Stuttgart had 23 shots.

Hoffenheim are conceding 15.56 shots per game in the Bundesliga this season, well above the average of 13.76. This rises to 18.25 in their four matches on the road, and this bet has landed in three of those.

  • Selection: Over 14.5 Shots For Stuttgart
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Heidenheim: Supercalifragilistic-Monchengladbach are atrocious

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, October 28th, 14:30 (UK)

Borussia Monchengladbach deservedly came out second best in the Rhine Derby last weekend. They were comfortably beaten by a Koln side who were in the relegation zone and will be looking to make amends when they take on Heidenheim in front of their own fans.

Heidenheim conceded five goals at home last weekend. The newly-promoted side have plenty of deficiencies at the back, but they will be content with their seven-point tally after eight matches. They are currently 11th, and avoiding relegation would be a success for them this season.

Monchengladbach’s matches have seen the most shots in the Bundesliga, with an average of 33.88. They conceded 15 attempts in the first half last weekend, and their opponents are averaging 19.12 per game so far this season. Over 27.5 shots has won in three of their four home league matches so far. Those three matches have all seen 32 shots or more.

Heidenheim’s matches have seen 28.38 shots on average. They are conceding 17.75 strikes per away match, so both teams should have chances here.

  • Selection: Over 27.5 Shots In The Match
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Bayer Leverkusen vs Freiburg: Freiburg in the Firing Line

Germany, Bundesliga, Sunday, October 29th, 14:30 (UK)

Bayer Leverkusen have gone from strength to strength since Xabi Alonso took over as manager. They look like the most obvious threat to Bayer Munich’s dominance at this stage. Leverkusen are top of the league coming into the weekend, but there are three sides hot on their tails.

Freiburg have made an ordinary start to the campaign, but they could catapult themselves towards the European spots with a win here. They edged past Bochum last weekend and moved up to 8th in the table. Freiburg will take confidence from the fact they beat Leverkusen at this ground last season.

Alonso’s side are averaging the 2nd most shots per game in the league this season with 17. They have won all four of their home matches with an average of 20 shots per game. This bet has landed in their last three matches in front of their own fans. The only home match so far where they didn’t manage at least 20 shots was against RB Leipzig.

Freiburg’s last away match was against Bayern Munich. They conceded 21 shots in that match, and this clash with Leverkusen should play out in a similar manner.

  • Selection: Over 17.5 Shots For Bayer Leverkusen
  • Best Odds: 1.72
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10
