Scott Thornton brings you his Bundesliga props acca tips for the weekend after three wins from three bets.

We have two key matches in the battle for survival on Saturday as we cover Koln vs Darmstadt and Wolfsburg vs Bochum. Darmstadt already look doomed but those results are likely to have a huge say on who finishes 16th and 17th. Our Sunday fixture is Werder Bremen vs Stuttgart.

Acca odds: 6.30

Koln vs Darmstadt: Golden Opportunity For Koln

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 20th April, 14:30 (UK)

This is a huge fixture and it can only be described as must win for the home side. Koln are four points behind Mainz, who currently sit in the Bundesliga’s relegation playoff place. They are five points off safety and a win over the divisions bottom side would give their survival hopes a massive boost with just five games to go.

Darmstadt have picked up just 14 points all season. They would be mathematically relegated if they are beaten this weekend but in truth, it has been an inevitability for quite some time. The side that sit in 18th place are on a run of 22 league matches without a win.

Despite struggling this season, Koln are averaging 14.21 shots per home game. They had 17 shots in their last game in front of their own fans and 26 the last time they hosted Darmstadt.

Torsten Lieberknecht’s side are conceding the second most shots in the Bundesliga this season with an average of 16.83 per game. They have played six matches on the road in 2024 and have conceded an average of 21.33 shots. This bet has won in five of those matches.

  • Selection: Over 16.5 Shots For Koln  (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.72
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Wolfsburg vs Bochum: Bochum Under the Cosh

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 20th April, 14:30 (UK)

Wolfsburg host Bochum in another key relegation clash in the German top flight. The home side are a point above their opponents and could find themselves in the relegation playoff place if results don’t go their way this weekend. Ralph Hassenhuttl had earned one victory in his three matches since taking charge.

Heiko Butscher’s sides’ draw with Heidenheim was enough to keep them ahead of a resurgent Mainz. Their relegation rivals are in great form so they will be fearing the worst as we approach the final games of the season.

Wolfsburg are averaging just 12.87 shots per home game in the league this season. However, they should exceed that number here. They’ve had 20 and 19 shots in their last two home matches against Bochum, and they could take a huge stride towards safety with a win.

Bochum are conceding an average of 16.5 shots per away game this season. They allowed Wolfsburg to have 16 shots in the reverse fixture so over 15.5 shots for the home side looks a good bet here.

  • Selection: Over 15.5 Shots For Wolfsburg (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Werder Bremen vs Stuttgart: Bremen are No Slouches

Germany, Bundesliga, Sunday, 21st April, 14:30 (UK)

Werder Bremen are 12th in the Bundesliga but aren’t out of the woods in terms of the relegation battle. They will fancy their chances of survival but are now without a win in their last four matches. They succumbed to a 2-0 defeat when they faced Stuttgart earlier in the season.

The visitors have been Germany’s surprise package this season. Stuttgart are level on points with Bayern Munich as we head into match day 30, something which would have been inconceivable at the start of the campaign. They are likely to qualify for the Champions League just a year after they were relegation candidates.

Bremen are conceding an average of 13.14 shots per home game in the league. Since their 4-0 defeat in their first home game of the season, they have conceded 15 shots or less in 11 of their 13 league games at the Volkswagen Arena.

Stuttgart are one of the best attacking sides in the league but they have strutted their best stuff on home turf. They have been getting results on the road but are averaging just 13.79 shots per Bundesliga away match.

  • Selection: Stuttgart Shots Under 15.5 Shots  (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 2.00
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 2.00
