RB Leipzig vs Werder Bremen: Zetterer Set For a Busy Afternoon

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 11th May, 14:30 (UK)

The Bundesliga has already secured an additional Champions League place so both RB Leipzig and Dortmund will play in next year’s competition. Nevertheless, Marco Rose’s side will still be looking to finish above their rivals. Leipzig are unbeaten in their last nine games. Their last home match was an impressive 4-1 win over Dortmund.

Werder Bremen are 11th coming into the weekend. Relegation was never a worry this season. There is an outside chance that they can secure a place in Europe with the gap to Freiburg just three points.

RB Leipzig play some fantastic attacking football and have had the third most shots in the Bundesliga as a result. They are averaging 18.56 shots per home game and over 16.5 shots has landed in three of their four matches at the Red Bull Arena since the start of March.

Bremen have conceded an average of 15.47 shots per game, the fourth most in the division. This rises to 17.44 in their matches on the road.  RB Leipzig had 17 shots when these sides went head-to-head earlier in the season. Bremen conceded 20 shots the last time they played at this ground.

  • Selection: Over 16.5 Shots For RB Leipzig (TRACKED BET)

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Increased Shot Count for Frankfurt

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 11th May, 14:30 (UK)

Borussia Monchengladbach come into this weekend four points above the relegation playoff. There are two sides between them and that dreaded fate but Gerardo Seoane’s side have two difficult fixtures remaining.

Eintracht Frankfurt are 6th in the league despite the loss of Kolo Muani in the summer. However, their recent form has been poor. They have won just one of their last seven games. Eintracht were hammered 5-1 by Bayer Leverkusen last weekend but a win here would secure their place in Europe.

Seoane’s side have conceded the third most shots in the division with their opponents averaging 16.97 per game. This drops to 14.44 shots if we only include the data from their home matches, that is still well above bet365’s shot line here. They have conceded 12 shots or more in nine of their last ten Bundesliga games at BORRUSIA-PARK.

Despite being in the European places, Frankfurt have had the fewest shots in the league. However, they should hit the 12 mark against Monchengladbach. This bet has won in the last five head-to-heads between these sides. Frankfurt are averaging 15 shots per game over that period.

  • Selection: Over 11.5 Shots For Eintracht Frankfurt (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.72
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Mainz vs Borussia Dortmund: Threat of Relegation Spells Danger

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, 11th May, 17:30 (UK)

Mainz will be hoping to take advantage of any tired legs when they take on Borussia Dortmund. They are 16th and in the relegation playoff place coming into match day 33. It’s very unlikely they will be dragged into the outright relegation positions but escaping a playoff is a priority.  Mainz are now unbeaten in their last seven.

Dortmund earned their place in the Champions League final midweek. They had to dig deep against PSG and that could have an impact on how Saturday plays out. Edin Terzic’s side are currently 5th in the league but a place in Europe’s elite club competition for next season is secure.

Bo Henriksen’s side will throw the kitchen sink at this one. We should see an end-to-end clash with plenty of shots. Mainz’s last home match saw 33 shots. There was also 33 shots when they played Dortmund earlier in the season.

Dortmund matches have seen an average of  29.34 shots this season. That’s the fourth most in Germany’s top flight. Their semi-final with PSG will have taken a lot out of them and tired legs could lead to a more open game.

  • Selection: Over 31.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10
