Saturday’s the big day, the English Football League returns, and with that, we bring you Championship acca tips.
Anticipation is steeped; a football-less summer has left us gagging for domestic football’s return, and here it is.
First on the roster is a Championship treble scraping odds of 6.00; it draws on the form of last season and business over the summer combining two results with a BTTS punt.
In other news, there’s a Championship 2023/34 ante-post betting preview here on bettingexpert if you fancy some light reading before the weekend comes.
It’s good to be back.
Acca odds: 5.96

I am hot on Middlesbrough and their chances this campaign.
All you have to do is ignore the enormous tail-off in performances towards the back of the season to really appreciate their chances of mounting a promotion push.
Yes, including the playoff semi-final, Micheal Carrick’s side didn’t win any of their last five games, but prior to that, they were irresistible.
Carrick took the reins at the end of October and went on to guide Boro to 15 wins in 20 games.
The Teesides tailed off, seemingly resigned to the playoffs, and whilst their form was fleeting at times, the goals flowed at both ends with regularity.
Boro’s 30 games under Carrick featured 100 goals, with two-thirds seeing both teams score, and that is the tout here.
As for Millwall, they are notoriously good at home and more conservative on their travels.
Away from home, Gary Rowett’s side averaged exactly a goal per game last campaign.
The Lions should be bolstered by Zian Flemming, who, despite Premier League interest, is set to play on Saturday.

QPR are bad, very bad.
Gary Ainsworth bided his time at Wycombe, touted for most Championship vacancies over the past few seasons, it looked like a decent coup for QPR to secure his services, and with his ex-club Wycombe reaching the end of a cycle, the timing looked perfect.
Well, it could not have gone worse.
Since he took charge in the capital, only Reading took fewer points than the R’s. Ainsworth oversaw 13 games, winning three, conceding 25 goals and winning 11 points.
Siding with Watford to win on opening day is not so much about how good they are but how bad the opposition is.
As for the Hornets, there is a lot of uncertainty.
Valerien Ismael is a fascinating appointment. The job he did at Barnsley was revolutionary. High line, high press and relentless energy launched the Tykes from the doldrums of the division to a top-six finish.
It earned him a job at West Brom, which went disastrously, and now a year and a bit later, he’s back in the Second Tier.
His style divides opinion, but his side should have the credentials to dispatch this out-of-sorts QPR. It’s good to see Sam Ingram agrees on the Championship Early, Early Bird here on bettingexpert, too.

Since dropping down from the top flight, Stoke have been the perennial promotion fancy, whether that be as market favourites or punters’ dark horses. There is a real buzz that this season may finally be the one they live up to the hype.
Shockingly, the Potters have not managed a top-half finish in their four seasons in the division. They look primed to challenge this campaign, though.
In Alex Neil, they have a man with a Championship promotion on his CV; he knows the league. He also helped Sunderland navigate an escape from the third tier, a role similar to this one in many ways.
They have moved savvy in the market, making several strong acquisitions. My favourite is Ben Pearson. He will be pivotal in Neil’s team. Enda Stevens, Daniel Johnson, and Michael Rose are all players with bags of experience to improve squad depth.
The same cannot be said about Rotherham, who have failed to find adequate replacements for Chiedozie Ogbene and Wes Harding.
