Nottingham Forest vs West Brom Best Bet

Mon, 18th April, 15:00 (UK time)

Two sides meet here worlds apart in expectations for the season. A beleaguered Baggies outfit limps towards the Championship’s finish line whilst an increasing number of Forest fans dream of Premier League football.

Despite the current situation West Brom faces, the talent within their squad is evident. Steve Bruce’s men recently managed two wins against the top two despite several disappointing performances this calendar year. Fulham and Bournemouth were swatted away without conceding a goal over a four-game period.

The two games that separate the aforementioned wins highlight exactly why The Baggies are 12th. Bristol’s 2-2 draw and a 1-0 loss in Birmingham ushered West Brom’s inconsistencies into the light.

Forest, on the other hand, have been imperious. As a result, Steve Cooper’s side have lost just once this calendar year, winning 10 of the other 14.

With the Baggies not quite in the hat for the playoffs, it would be no surprise for Forest to outperform them here. Given it has been the norm in Nottingham in 2022, the Evens price to grab three points is worth considering.

  • Selection: Forest Win
  • Best Odds: 2.00 (William Hill)
  • Stakes: 10/10

Reading vs Swansea Best Bet

Mon, 18th April, 15:00 (UK time)

As Reading approaches the Easter weekend, they do so, having scored in five consecutive fixtures. It’s the Royals’ best scoring run of the season.

In that timeframe, the eight points earned should be enough to fend off relegation. Nevertheless, the job isn’t done yet, not mathematically.

Reading’s penchant for sharing the scoresheet ranks them third in the Championship for BTTS this season. Only QPR and Bristol City better the 24 games banking BTTS.

Swansea’s recent showings see them at second in the Championship’s form table. The performances on show in Wales suggest them forcing their way in on the scoresheet should be routine.

With the way Russel Martin’s side is operating at present, don’t be surprised to see them turn over a Reading team able to take their foot off ever so slightly. In the November head-to-head, there were goals aplenty. Reading came out on top to the tune 2-3, a 50th-minute Danny Drinkwater strike enough to down the Swans.

The 5.00 offered is reasonable for a share of the goals and Swansea to nick a win here. This selection has landed in three of Swansea’s recent five wins against Bristol City, Coventry City, and Peterborough United.

  • Selection: Swansea Win & BTTS
  • Best Odds: 5.00 (William Hill)
  • Stakes: 4/10

QPR vs Derby Best Bet

Mon, 18th April, 15:00 (UK time)

Similarly to Reading, Derby trudges the Easter into the Easter weekend, having found the net in four games on the bounce. As Derby fight valiantly to remain in the division, QPR slip into a horrendous vein of form.

It has been seven losses from eight fixtures for the R’s. Playoffs are still within reach, but it’s less than likely with their current dejected showings.

QPR’s 59% of games allowing BTTS this campaign is the second-highest league. Derby follows closely with 51%. QPR have scored in 11 of 18 fixtures this calendar year and certainly have the players to unsettle Derby’s defence.

Wayne Rooney’s Derby, away from home, averages 1.42 goals conceded this season. With The Rams scrapping for both price and survival, I like the 1.80 available for both to find the net.

Here’s hoping for an end-to-end battle in the capital.

  • Selection: BTTS
  • Best Odds: 1.80 (William Hill)
  • Stakes: 10/10

WHAT IS A CHAMPIONSHIP ACCA?

A  Championship acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Championship acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Championship accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Championship acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
