Everton vs Burnley Prediction 1: Toffees to Get Out of a Sticky Situation
England, Premier League, Saturday, April 6th, 15:00 (UK)
Everton have already beaten Burnley twice this season and we are backing them to do the same again. Sean Dyche’s side ran out 2-0 victors at Turf Moor just before Christmas. They also beat the Clarets 3-0 at Goodison Park in the League Cup. The Toffees restricted their opponents to just one shot on target in that game despite maintaining just 38% possession.
The Toffees aren’t in good form. They failed to win any of their 12 league matches before the trip to Newcastle midweek (yet to be played). This is a golden opportunity for them to deal a blow to one of their relegation rivals and end their winless run at the same time.
Burnley are conceding an average of two goals per away game this season. They are without a win in their last six matches on the road. Vincent Kompany’s side have started to improve in font of goal but they should still come up short against an Everton side that have had the knack for doing just enough in recent seasons.

Everton vs Burnley Prediction 2: No Time for Cautious Approach
The next bet for this match is for both teams to score. Burnley are in desperate need of points and the urgency has increased as the weeks have gone on. They are currently four points from safety thanks to Nottingham Forest’s points deduction. The urgency and the acquisition of David Datro Fofana have meant they have improved in front of goal. Kompany will want his side to commit bodies forward here.
Burnley are averaging 1.1 goals per game in 2024. They have found the net in seven of their last eight matches in the league and should throw caution to the wind here. Anything other than three points would be underwhelming for both sides so we should see an enthralling game as a result.
Everton have scored in six of their last seven Premier League matches at Goodison Park. The 0-0 draw against Champions League-chasing Aston Villa was the one time they didn’t hit the back of the net during that run. Over that period, they have scored an average of 1.43 goals per game and just one of their opponents sat in the bottom half of the table.

- Best Odds: 1.80

Everton vs Burnley Prediction 3: Visitor’s Corner Stats Highlight Value
We are sticking with the thinking that it will be an end-to-end game by backing over 10 corners in the match. A draw will do little good for both of these sides with the fixtures coming up and a gung-ho approach in the later stages of this game should help the corner count soar.
Everton’s home matches this season have seen an average of 10.43 corners. Their 2-1 defeat against Bournemouth saw 17 corners and we could see a similar number once again. Sean Dyche’s teams are known for posing a threat from set-pieces. We could see clusters of corners as they push for all three points in this hugely important fixture.
Bunrley’s last away match saw 16 corners. They have played 15 league matches on the road this season and those have seen an average of 11.73. There were 14 corners in the match when the Clarets last faced Everton.
- Everton vs BurnleyPrediction 3: Over 10 Corners
- Best Odds: 2.00
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 7/10
