We don’t have to go back too far in history to find the last meeting between these two nations. They were drawn together in Group F of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. A 1-1 draw in Moldova was followed by a 2-1 victory for Landsliðið on home soil. The visitors travel with the rare experience of being ranked some 51 places higher than their opponents. As a result, both sides will want to record the win with tougher challenges lying in wait. Initially, I was drawn toward both teams to score here. Given the recent head to heads and expected desire from both nations to claim three points. However, seeing the Asian goal line set at just 2.0 it is impossible to ignore.
