Friday Night Acca: Friday, February, 3rd

We’ve got Friday night acca tips this week as there’s plenty of football taking place across Europe. Here at bettingexpert Expert Insights, we have selected our three favourite bets and previewed each one below.

In this article:

Queen’s Park vs Ayr Preview

Scotland, Championship, Friday, February 3rd, 19:45 (UK)

It’s 1st against 2nd in Scotland’s Championship, there’s just a single point between the two sides who will both be desperate for maximum points at Ochilview Park. Ayr have scored the most in the division with 46 whilst the league leaders have scored 44 in their 22 matches.

Clashes at the top of the table can often become a cagey affair, but that’s not the case here. These sides have met twice this season in the Championship and have seen five goals arrive in each match.

Over 2.5 goals is priced at 1.65, which is fairly low if you’re backing as a single. Queen’s Park are odds-on favourites, but I wouldn’t be backing anyone to win here given both sides score and concede at will.

Queen’s Park vs Ayr Best Bet

Ayr have found the back of the net in all 10 away matches and have scored multiple times in nine. They’ve kept just two clean sheets on their travels but I can’t see them earning a third one here.

The current league leaders have averaged two goals per game in Stenhousemuir, they’ve scored in all of their home matches so will be confident in extending that tally.

The reverse clash here ended 2-3 back in August, another entertaining 90 minutes is expected in Scotland’s second tier.

  • Selection: BTTS / Over 2.5 Goals (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

West Brom vs Coventry Preview

England, Championship, Friday, February 3rd, 20:00 (UK)

Only Burnley and Middlesbrough have picked up more points than West Brom in the last 10 matches but no side has conceded less than Carlos Corberan’s side in that timeframe. Coventry occupies 13th but away results have been poor for them this campaign.

The Baggies have taken 125 corners in just 14 home games this season, a staggering 8.93 per 90. They’ve notched up at least six corners in every home game.

West Brom have been in superb form at the Hawthorns, they’ve won each of their last five in the Championship without conceding a goal. Mark Robin’s side are going to have their work cut out here, his side has kept just three shutouts in 10 since the return which all came at home.

West Brom vs Coventry Best Bet

Combining the goal and corner angles make this a really nice selection, I expect the hosts to provide most of the attacking output as they look to climb the table.

Coventry have allowed 76 corners against them on the road this season, an average of 5.85. Six teams from 13 have taken the required amount of six, which have all arrived in Coventry’s last nine outings.

  • Selection: West Brom Over 0.5 Goals / West Brom Over 5.5 Corners (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Athletic Bilbao vs Cadiz Preview

Spain, La Liga, Friday, February 3rd, 20:00 (UK)

Bilbao welcome Cadiz to Estadio San Mames where once again I’m using the host’s impressive corner stats to my advantage. Ernesto Valverde’s side plays much better in familiar surroundings. They’ve averaged 1.70 points per 90 at home but have scored just 12 times in 10 matches.

Cadiz narrowly avoided the drop last season, they are sat in 18th heading into this clash but have performed much better than they did at the beginning of the campaign. The visitors have lost eight times in 19 top-flight matches but five of those came in the opening five matchdays.

The home side have taken 78 corners at home this season whilst Cadiz have allowed 61 in their nine outings. Bilbao won the reverse clash with ease in August which saw the proposed corner line land.

Athletic Bilbao vs Cadiz Best Bet

With Bilbao taking corners for fun at home, hitting six or more should be well within reach. They racked up 12 against Real Madrid and 14 the game before in front of the home fans since the return.

Cadiz have seen their opponents accumulate at least six corners in 67% of their trips which includes both games since the World Cup break.

I’m not expecting this to be a thriller, Bilbao have seen 18 goals in 10 here with eight seeing fewer than four. Just once in nine has seen Cadiz involved in a game with four or more goals.

With the home side scoring in just one game from their five since the return, expect the struggles to continue. None of Cadiz’s last five have seen three or more goals.

  • Selection: Athletic Bilbao Over 5.5 Corners / Under 3.5 Goals (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.90 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Odds as at 14:00 February 1st 2023. Odds may now differ.
