The final day of the Ligue 1 season sees all 20 teams in action at 20:00, the battle for a place in a European competition is certainly on with a handful of clubs yet to confirm their spots whilst two clubs are at risk in facing the drop. I’ve selected and previewed my three favourite bets for the finale in the French top flight for bettingexpert.

St Etienne travel to newly crowned Coupe de France champions Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire on the final day, they sit 19th in the table and if they lose they will be relegated from the top flight.
Goals is certainly the way I’m wanting to attack this game in regards to a betting angle, the hosts have seen BTTS in eight of their last nine Ligue 1 matches. Nantes themselves have been right amongst the goals as of late, all eight of their recent league matches have seen both teams score.
The price on offer for both teams to find the back of the net is 1.50, which is short but understandable given recent results for either club. Adding an extra goal on top of the BTTS selection boosts up the price to 1.83 which is something I’m keen to get behind.
Antoine Kombouare’s side has seen this selection land in each of their recent five league matches meanwhile its seven of the last eight for Pascal Dupraz’s men.
Only two teams have shipped more goals on the road than the visitor which won’t give them a lot of confidence, Nantes will be playing for just pride given where they are in the table but will want to put on a show for the fans on the final day.

Lens and Monaco have been in fantastic form leading up to the end of the season but it’s all to play for on the final day. The hosts have a chance of reaching a potential European place meanwhile Monaco can confirm a place in next season’s Champions League group stage with three points.
Franck Haise’s side are unbeaten in seven league matches which has seen them climb the table into 7th, they’ve scored on multiple occasions in six of those seven clashes in recent weeks.
It’s nine wins on the bounce for Monaco as they currently occupy second spot, Philppe Clement’s men have scored twice or more in eight games and have conceded in six separate matches.
With the quality each side has shown in attacking areas goals are definitely expected in this game and with both sides needing to win for different reasons backing BTTS looks a good way in.
Monaco are priced at 2.00 for the win at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Saturday night and it’s no shock given they have won every game in the last two months. Combining Monaco double chance to the BTTS play gives a price of 2.00, that will be my second selection.

Kylian Mbappe could be playing his final game for PSG this weekend, the 23 year old is the top scorer in the division by just a single goal so will want to add to his tally against Metz who are 18th in the table.
Mbappe has scored in the first half in eight of his last nine goalscoring outings and is priced at 3.50 to score the first goal at Parc des Princes in front of the home fans in what could be a possible goodbye.
The French international has bagged 25 times in 34 appearances for the club over the Ligue 1 season, he is as short at 1.40 to score anytime in the 90 minutes so a first goal scorer shout could be a good way to get involved here at a strong price.
Metz have conceded 33 times on the road this season and are winless in the previous seven, with the possibility of relegation looming the pressure could easily get to them and Paris is the last place they would have wanted to be going into the final day.
A Ligue 1 acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Ligue 1 acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Ligue 1 accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Ligue 1 acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed
