With a midweek round of Premier League action just around the corner, it means our Liverpool vs Newcastle bet builder tips are not all that far away either. Tips that will focus on whether the Merseyside men can build on their emphatic 9-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday
While they will also focus on the Magpies and with Eddie Howe’s men earning a draw away at Wolves last weekend, they will look to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign.

If Liverpool ever needed a reaction after their recent defeat to Manchester United, they certainly displayed one at home to Bournemouth last Saturday. A reaction that saw them equal the Premier League’s record for a margin of victory.
One that saw Jurgen Klopp’s men ruthlessly expose the Cherries and after failing to win any of their first three league outings of this season, their pent-up frustration was taken out on the recently promoted outfit.
Frustration that saw them hit nine of the best against Bournemouth and had Mohamed Salah also brought his shooting boots to the party, then the final score could have just as easily ended in double figures.
With their season finally underway, they will now prepare for the visit of a Newcastle side who are yet to taste defeat this season. While this run was extended on Sunday, after earning a dramatic late draw at Wolves.
One that in the dying seconds of the game looked rather unlikely and although Alain Saint Maximin’s stunning strike earned a point for the Magpies, it came at a rather personal cost to the Frenchman.
A cost that saw him limp off at the end and with the 25-year-old likely to join Callum Wilson on the sidelines, Newcastle could be rather light up front. Then again, there is a certain Alexander Isak who could well make his debut from the start on Wednesday.
Although Newcastle are yet to taste defeat in this Premier League season, I think their solid start to the campaign will finally come to an end in midweek. Something that means bad news for their travelling support.
While not only will the Magpies return empty-handed, but I also think they will go behind before the interval. Especially as they have lost at half time and full time in five of their last seven trips to Anfield (all competitions).
Therefore a Liverpool half-time/full-time selection is going on the betting slip and going alongside this, I believe that Mohamed Salah’s own personal goal drought will finally see some rain on Wednesday.
After drawing a blank at home to Bournemouth, the Egyptian will be even more determined to score this time and therefore, backing a goal in 90 minutes can only be considered a rather logical conclusion.
Although Liverpool were nothing short of rampant at the weekend, I doubt the same level of goals will be found when facing Newcastle and for that reason, I have plumped for no more than three in this encounter.
Add the referee having to show at least one card during the skirmish at Anfield and this neatly brings my latest bet builder together. One that with all four markets being combined, is ready to offer tempting odds of 8.00.
