Nothing comes close to the enjoyment from continuous Premier League matches across the festive period, and as usual, we’ve got you covered with acca tips and predictions in the top-flight. As our Christmas gift to you, here’s Tom Winch with his best three Premier League bets following Christmas day.

Bournemouth vs Fulham starts us off on Boxing Day. Brentford and Wolves meet on the 27th, and then it’s Arsenal vs West Ham the following night. Three consecutive days of football action, what more could we want?

Boxing Day has always been an exhilarating ride in the Premier League. Did you know that Gareth Barry (18) has the most appearances on Boxing Day? What about the player with the most assists on Boxing Day? Yeah, we didn’t either. Clue: it’s a current manager in the Championship. Luckily for us, bet365 has packaged up a selection of all-time Boxing Day stats into one handy article. Just follow the link!

Bournemouth vs Fulham: Cherries Are Class

England, Premier League, Tuesday December 26th, 15:00 (UK)

It’s been a sensational few weeks for Andoni Iraola and his Bournemouth side. They’ve won four of their previous five matches in the top flight, which includes victories against Newcastle and Man United. Villa have been the only side to halt the Cherries in recent weeks and were relatively fortunate to earn a point on the south coast.

Fulham have earned 21 points this season, with just five arriving in nine away days. Their only away win of the season came on the opening day at Goodison Park; Bernd Leno was MOTM that afternoon after making nine saves in a smash-and-grab performance. They’ve recorded draws at Arsenal, Palace and Brighton despite creating very little in all three contests.

The home side are certainly on the up. They’ll be full of confidence heading here and are deserving favourites. Iraola’s men have scored multiple times in each of their previous five matches.
Dominik Solanke is enjoying his football right now; the Englishman has nine goals to his name this term and has scored three times in his last two outings at the Vitality Stadium.

Fulham have the third worst xGA across the entire league, only worsened by Sheffield United and Luton. They’ve had just 77 shots in their nine away days in 23/24 and haven’t managed more than ten in any fixture.

I’m keen to side with the hosts. They’ll cause Fulham plenty of problems with their pace and trickery from individuals such as Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo. Marco Silva will be without Raul Jimenez due to suspension, a huge blow after the Mexicans’ sudden goal-scoring form.

  • Selection: Bournemouth -0.25 Asian Handicap
  • Best Odds: 1.98
  • Bookmaker: Unibet
  • Stake: 8/10

Brentford vs Wolves: Surprise Packages

England, Premier League, Wednesday December 27th, 19:30 (UK)

Not a lot separates these two sides in the Premier League table. They have both earned 19 points from 17 outings. Thomas Franks’ side have scored and conceded 24 whilst Gary O’Neil’s men have bagged 21 with 29 going in at the other end.

The Bees have accumulated 12 points at home this campaign and have lost more times this term than they did in the entire 22/23 season. Goals have been a consistent theme at the Brentford Community Stadium. There have been 30 strikes in just nine games here.

Brentford have scored in all but one game, which came against Arsenal in late November and led to a 1-0 defeat. They still had chances that night with 1.19xG, and three big chances were missed. Only Burnley have failed to score here on their travels this term, with five teams from nine netting twice or more since the opening day.

Wolves have been another side that’s been involved in plenty of entertaining affairs; 26 goals have been scored in their nine away trips. Only Man United and West Ham have kept clean sheets against O’Neil’s men throughout the entire campaign, the latter coming last weekend. Wolves had their chances and did have the ball in the back of the net, but it was ruled out by the finest of margins.

These two sides have been surprise packages in terms of goals this campaign. Seven of Brentford’s nine clashes here have seen three or more goals, with five seeing at least four. It’s six wins from nine in Wolves’ away days, which includes each of their previous five. This selection has cashed in 13/18 combined matches between the pair, making the 2.00 price appeal.

  • Selection: Over 2.5 Goals
  • Best Odds: 2.00

  • Stake: 8/10

Arsenal vs West Ham: Overs The Way To Go

England, Premier League, Thursday December 28th, 20:15 (UK)

At the time of writing, Arsenal leads the way in the Premier League. Arteta’s men have earned 23 of their 39 points at the Emirates and are almighty favourites to overcome David Moyes’ West Ham on Thursday night.

The Hammers are 9th and have been an enjoyable watch for the majority of the 23/24 campaign. Only four sides have averaged more goals against than West Ham’s 1.80 this season, and three of those teams sit in the relegation zone.

Arsenal have yet to lose at home this season, they’ve dropped just four points and have won their last five top-flight matches here. Their price to win (1.30) is incredibly short but the stats speak for themselves. Man City, Brighton and Sheffield United are the three sides to have not scored here this season.

The visitors have every chance of scoring here. They’re huge outsiders like most teams are when they arrive here. Only Fulham have prevented Moyes’ side from scoring on their travels this term. West Ham have scored at Anfield, Villa Park and at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 23/24.

Jarrod Bowen is having a tremendous campaign. Only Salah and Haaland have scored more Premier League goals than the 27-year-old. Mohammed Kudus has shown plenty of quality lately; he bagged two against Wolves not so long ago.

Arsenal have plenty of goal threats; Saka, Jesus and Martinelli are most likely to start here. They’re lively and will most certainly give the West Ham defence a torrid time. Odegaard and Havertz have bagged four each this term, with the German beginning to find his feet.

The home side can quite easily cover this selection on their own, but I wouldn’t rule out the visitors getting one for themselves here.

Seven games from nine at the Emirates have seen at least three goals, five have seen at least four. Eight of West Ham’s nine away days have seen at least three strikes, five witnessing four or more.

Three goals exactly is a push with stakes returned; four goals or more will see this bet win.

  • Selection: Over 3.0 Asian Goal Line
  • Best Odds: 1.99
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10
