Everton vs Crystal Palace Best Bet

Thursday, May 19th, 19:45 (UK Time)

One win will do it for Everton. The Toffees need three points from their last two matches to secure Premier League survival. It wouldn’t be a successful season for Frank Lampard’s side but it’s a good finish considering their position a few weeks ago.

They face a Crystal Palace side in fine form. The Eagles have only lost two of their last 11 matches in the Premier League. They won’t be too worried about this match. They’ve already faced Everton twice and beaten them twice this campaign. Never before have Crystal Palace won three matches against a fellow top-flight side in the same season.

I don’t think they will here. I can see Everton getting at least one point as they continue their fight for survival. That defeat at Selhurst Park back in December was their only one to Crystal Palace in 14 Premier League meetings.

I can see tempers flaring once again. Frustration has crept into this Everton side. Their lost five matches have seen a total of two red cards and 24 yellows. I’ve added over 3 cards to this one to push those odds up.

  • Selection: Everton or Draw Double Chance and Over 3 Cards at 1.93
  • Odds: 1.93 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 8/10

Aston Villa vs Burnley Best Bet

Thursday, May 19th, 20:00 (UK Time)

Burnley need the points to stay up as they host an Aston Villa side pushing for a top-half finish. The Clarets followed up three consecutive victories with two defeats to put their Premier League place in doubt. Two wins will do it for Burnley but two defeats will send them back to the Championship after six straight seasons at the top.

They visit an Aston Villa side eager to break an almost 100-year-old record. They won 3-1 in the reverse fixture at Turf Moor less than two weeks ago. Villa haven’t done the domestic double over Burnley since the 1925-26 season. That included a 10-0 win at Villa Park.

Steven Gerrard’s men have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks. They’ve taken the lead in each of their last four matches. That’s their longest such run all season. They only lost one of those game and that was against Liverpool, their only defeat in five. I think they look good value here and I’m backing them to not lose.

I’m also looking at the goals line as a way of boosting those odds. Burnley have had under 3.5 total match goals in each of their last eight away matches. Aston Villa’s average in their last eight matches is 2.38. Only Palace have a lower figure in that time. I’m adding unders to push the odds up.

  • Selection: Aston Villa or Draw Double Chance and Under 4 Goals
  • Odds: 1.72 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 9/10

Chelsea vs Leicester Best Bet

Thursday, May 19th, 20:00 (UK Time)

It’s the least important match of the day but I think it will be the most exciting. Chelsea host Leicester with little reward for either side. The Blues will have 3rd spot secured with a single point from either of their last two matches. Leicester should wrap up a top-half finish with a win from one of their last two.

The Blues are looking to complete the domestic double over the Foxes for the first time since the 2016-17 season. They won 3-0 at the King Power back in November. They don’t have a particularly good record against the Foxes, especially at home. Chelsea have won only one of their last four home matches against Leicester in all competitions.

It’s a difficult one to call so I won’t even try. I think we’ll see plenty of goals though. Each of Leicester’s last four Premier League matches have had at least three goals in each. Chelsea have averaged 3.50 total match goals in their last eight Premier League games.

I’m going for over 2 goals and I’m also adding over on corners into the mix. Both sides have average over 10.5 corners per match this campaign. Over 8 looks a good bet in what should be an attacking match.

  • Selection: Over 2 Goals and Over 8 Corners
  • Odds: 2.01 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 10/10

A  Premier League acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Premier League acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Premier League accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Premier League acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
