Scott Thornton brings you his Premier League props acca for the final match day of the season as Manchester City look to maintain their advantage over Arsenal.

All ten matches kick off at 16:00 on Sunday and it promises to be an action-packed couple of hours. This preview covers Klopp’s final game in charge of Liverpool against Wolves, Manchester United’s trip to Brighton, Chelsea’s clash with Bournemouth and Sheffield United vs Tottenham. Of course, we are covering Arsenal vs Everton and Manchester City vs West Ham as the final day of the title race unfolds.

Acca Odds: 33.04

Arsenal vs Everton: Plenty of Throws in Toffees’ Matches

England, Premier League, Sunday, 19th May, 16:00 (UK)

Arsenal take their final bow of the season at the Emirates on Sunday. There is still a slither of hope that will finish the day as champions of England for the first time since the invincible season. However, they are relying on West Ham causing an upset at the Etihad.

Everton have survived in the top flight with ease despite being hit with two points deductions by the Premier League.  They have 40 points coming into the final match and would be level on points with 10th-place Brighton if they hadn’t breached the profit and sustainability rules.

The Gunners are often in control of the ball for long periods and there are fewer throws in their matches as a result. There has been an average of 29.38 in their league matches this season but there were 35 throws when they went head-to-head with Everton in September. This bet also won the last time the teams squared off at this ground.

The Toffees’ matches have seen the most throws in the league with an average of 41.84 per game. There have been 33 throws or more in their last nine games.

  • Selection: Over 32.5 Throws In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Manchester City vs West Ham: Hammers Looking to Make it an Edgy Afternoon

England, Premier League, Sunday, 19th May, 16:00 (UK)

Manchester survived a scare at Tottenham midweek but got the all-important three points. The clash with Ange Psotrcoglou’s sie was viewed as the final potential banana skin. City are expected to coast past West Ham on Sunday but Pep will ensure there is no complacency in his ranks.

David Moyes’ will take charge of his final game as West Ham boss on Sunday. They beat Luton 3-1 in his final home game in charge but they are unlikely to follow that up with another victory here. The Hammers haven’t beaten Manchester City in any of the last 19 head-to-heads.

City matches have seen the feast throws in the division with an average of 28.43 per game. They will dominate possession here but the line set by the bookmakers for the match looks low given the high-pressure situation. Moreover, there were 28 throws the last time they faced West Ham at the Etihad.

West Ham matches have seen an average of 37.14 throws this season. Their away matches in 2024 have seen an average of 40.75 throws.

  • Selection: Over 26.5 Throws In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.83
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Liverpool vs Wolves: The Reds at Full Tilt For Klopp’s Final Game

England, Premier League, Sunday, 19th May, 16:00 (UK)

This promises to be an emotional affair for Liverpool. It will be the last time that Jurgen Klopp leads the team out and he will undoubtedly receive a great send-off. He has won everything there is to win at the club but this season has ultimately been a disappointment.

Wolves are 13th coming into this one. Many fans feared they would be relegated after a tumultuous summer but Gary O’Neil has done marvellously well since taking the reins. Nevertheless, the manager will be concerned by the fact his team have won just once in their last 10 matches.

Liverpool are averaging the highest shots per game in the league this season with 20.38. At Anfield, this increases to a whopping 24.56 shots per game. They had 25 attempts in their most recent home match against Tottenham. Klopp’s side have had 23 shots or more in seven of their last nine league matches in front of their own fans. They managed 19 shots against Manchester City and 21 shots against Crystal Palace in the games where this bet lost.

Gary O’Neil’s side haven’t conceded 23 shots in an away match this season but they will be up against it. The home side should go full throttle for the duration as they looks to round off Klopp’s tenure in emphatic fashion.

  • Selection: Over 22.5 Shots For Liverpool (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake:7/10

Brighton vs Manchester United: Ten Hag’s Troubling Trend to Continue

England, Premier League, Sunday, 19th May, 16:00 (UK)

Brighton have won their last four league matches against Manchester United and will  be looking to extend their winning run here. The Seagulls have hit the heights of last season and are out of the race to secure European football.

Erik Ten Hag is under mounting pressure but was defiant on the pitch following Manchester United’s last Premier League game at Old Trafford of the season. United’s setup has been picked apart by several pundits and there is a feeling that INEOS could opt for change in the summer. Ten Hag will be hoping for a big performance from his side here as they look to build momentum ahead of the FA Cup final.

The Seagulls will fancy their chances here. They are averaging 15.89 shots per Premier League game at the Amex Arena but had 22 attempts the last time they hosted the Red Devils.

Manchester United continue to face an obscene amount of shots for a club of their stature. Only Sheffield United have allowed their opponents to have more attempts in the top tier of English football. They are conceding 20.06 shots per away match this season. That number rises to 23.13 if we only include the data from their away matches in 2024.

  • Selection: Over 18.5 Shots For Brighton (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10

Chelsea vs Bournemouth: Pochettino’s Side On the Offensive

England, Premier League, Sunday, 19th May, 16:00 (UK)

Chelsea can secure a European place with a win here. Mauricio Pochettino’s side were marooned in the bottom half of the table for large periods of the season. The Blues have won their last four matches and they are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in their last nine. Poch’s side performed well in a 2-1 win over Brighton midweek.

Andoni Iraola will be delighted with how his first season in England has played out. He endured a difficult start but things started to click after a couple of months. They are 11th in the league ahead of match day 38.

The Blues are averaging 16.5 shots per league game in front of their own fans this season. Their performances have improved as the season has progressed and this has reflected in their shot totals. Their last five league matches at Stamford Bridge have seen them average 23.2 shots.

Bournemouth are conceding 16.78 shots on average in their league matches on the road. They conceded 25 shots in their last away match against Arsenal.

  • Selection: Over 15.5 Shots For Chelsea (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.72
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 8/10

Sheffield United vs Tottenham: Blades Last Chance to Attack

England, Premier League, Sunday, 19th May, 16:00 (UK)

Sheffield United are bottom of the league and survival never looked like a possibility. They have picked up just 16 points from their 37 matches and without a win since the 10th of February. They have picked up just three points in 13 matches since then.

Ange Postecoglou was left incensed with the reaction to his side’s defeat against Manchester City. The former Celtic manager has instilled a clear identity in this Tottenham squad in his first season, but there is still plenty of work to be done after missing out on Champions League football.

The Blades are conceding the most shots in the Premier League with an average of 17.84 per game so Tottenham should rack up a fair few attempts here. Chris Wilder’s side will want to give the fans something to cheer about so let’s hope they also make a contribution to the overall shot count.

Tottenham matches have seen an average of 28.24 shots per game this season. However, their last two away matches have seen 36 and 35 shots. There were 35 shots when they faced Sheffield United earlier in the season.

  • Selection: Over 30.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.80
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10
