Five matches in the Premier League this Saturday. Arsenal host Newcastle in the early kick off with Southampton visiting Liverpool at 3:00pm while Brighton host Leeds in the late kick off. Selection 1: Arsenal vs Newcastle – No on Both Teams to Score
I’m backing no on Both Teams to Score here. The Gunners look good value to keep a clean sheet after that heavy defeat to Liverpool last weekend. They lost 4-0 to the Reds but had kept three clean sheets in four before then. Newcastle have scored in each of their last five away games in the league but they’ve outperformed their xG by a lot. Arsenal are the massive favourites to win at 1.49 but I think no on BTTS carries more value.

Selection 2: Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa – Aston Villa +0.5 (AH)
I’m backing Aston Villa to avoid defeat here. Crystal Palace have a good record against them- they’ve won five of their last six home matches against Villa – but I expect the visitors to get a result. They’re due a few good results in their upcoming matches and the bookies are siding with Palace a little too easily. Villa may have lost five of their last six but that will change. They face Manchester City, Leicester and Liverpool in their three matches after this. Steven Gerrard will look at this match as an ideal opportunity to get some points on the board.

Selection 3: Liverpool vs Southampton – Under 3.25 Goals
The goal line is off here. 3.25 goals is a lot for any match, especially one that comes a few days after a midweek Champions League fixture. Liverpool have looked unstoppable at times but I think a 2-0/3-0 win for the hosts is the likeliest outcome here. Southampton have barely threatened in front of goal. They’re the second-lowest scorers behind Norwich and I don’t think they’ll add to that tally at Anfield. No on Both Teams to Score is another good option.

Selection 4: Norwich vs Wolverhampton – Wolves to Win
Norwich have won their last two. They haven’t won three consecutive Premier League matches since December 2012 under Chris Hughton. I don’t think they’ll break that record here against Wolves. They’ve lost three of their last four matches against Wolves including both of their last two home fixtures. Wolves have taken as many points from their last seven Premier League matches as Chelsea and Manchester City. The underlying data suggest that Wolves should be scoring more goals too so I’m backing them in the 1X2.

Selection 5: Brighton vs Leeds – Leeds +0 (AH)
This is a difficult match to call. Both sides have struggled in recent weeks and are due a win. I’m backing Leeds plus a handicap even though the bookies expect Brighton to get the three points. They should have some key players returning from injury and are in better form with five points from their last four. Both sides have underperformed in recent weeks based on their underlying data but the betting value lies with Leeds.
