The Premier League returns this weekend with seven fixtures set to take place across three days this weekend. Some of the biggest sides in the country are in action and there are fixtures that will have a big say on the bottom of the table. As always, our Super Tipsters are on-hand to deliver their picks for the action this weekend.

Aston Villa have only four points to their name this season, with Steven Gerrard having to defend his side’s performance on several occasions. Three successive defeats were followed up by a 1-1 draw against Manchester City last time out, and they were rather unlucky not to take all three points against the reigning champions.
Aston Villa have won two of their last three Premier League games against Southampton and will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways on home turf.

We are treated to the battle of the new boys as this will be the first ever Premier League meeting between Nottingham Forest and Fulham. While Nottingham currently lies 19th in the table with three defeats in their last three, Fulham have impressed this season; their only two losses have come at the hands of Arsenal and Tottenham.
Only Erling Haaland has scored more goals than Aleksandr Mitrovic. The Serbian will be eager to fire his side back to winning ways.

Two sides with different fortunes battle it out for three points and it would take something for the hosts to get anything out of this fixture. Wolves only earned their first win in 13 Premier League games against Southampton last time out, while they’re looking to win back-to-back home league games for the first time since November 2021.
Those ambitions will be put to the ultimate test when they welcome a hungry Manchester City side, led by an equally goal-hungry Erling Haaland who can’t stop scoring at the moment.

Newcastle will be eager to return to winning ways when they welcome newly-promoted Bournemouth to their home turf. The Magpies have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games, a 2-1 loss to Liverpool last month. However, they are also currently winless in five league matches.
Bournemouth will come into this game with high spirits after their first match following the sacking of Scott Parker saw them come from two goals down to win against Nottingham Forest.
Though the hosts are slight favourites, it will likely be an open game for either side.

Things are looking bleak for Brendan Rodgers. As a result, there is a sense that this fixture could come with many implications. Having lost to Sporting in their Champions League game in midweek, Tottenham will want to make a response, and history is on their side here as well.
Tottenham have won seven of their last nine Premier League games against Leicester, including each of the previous three. Another victory could potentially lead to the dismissal of Rodgers, who can only watch in dismay as his side continues to struggle at the bottom of the table.

Arsenal suffered their first loss of the season to Manchester United, and the plan will be to return to winning ways and show that defeat was only a minor blip. However, tricky opposition in the form of Brentford awaits, and Arsenal will have to be at their best to claim a victory here.
Brentford have scored 15 goals in their six Premier League games with Ivan Toney in inspired form. Only Manchester City have scored more than The Bees. The hosts famously won this fixture by a 2-0 scoreline last season, but it is a different looking Arsenal this time, with the Gunners leading the way at the top of the table.

Everton are winless in their last seven Premier League games, with three defeats followed by four consecutive draws. Nonetheless, Frank Lampard will be delighted with the fight his side showed in their goalless stalemate against Liverpool.
West Ham have equally struggled and currently finds themselves in relegation discussions. So, it should be an open fixture that poses a real chance of Everton registering their first win of the campaign.
