The model factors in a team’s recent form, quality of opposition, averages over longer periods and the meetings between the sides.

The number of shots a team has can be quite unpredictable. Goals change games, especially early on, but this method has proven accurate in the long term.

Leicester vs Crytal Palace Preview

Leicester have made a poor start to the season and they are currently rooted at the bottom of the table. The pressure is growing on Brendan Rodgers. There are reports that supporters will voice their discontent at Saturday’s game.

Crystal Palace are five points above the hosts after beating Leeds last weekend. They had been on a four-match run without a win prior to that victory. Viera’s men have drawn two of their three away games in the league and they will be looking for three points against lowly Leicester.

Leicester need to respond after being beaten by Bournemouth. The Foxes should display a great deal of attacking intent from the off.
