We head to Ligue 1 on Wednesday for three bets to make up our midweek accumulator. The French league is hotly contested this season and there are a number of interesting matches to get stuck into.
PSG remain top of the league but the Lens are hot on the heels as they look to secure an unprecedented league title.

Monaco are 10 points behind the league leaders and they will be disappointed they haven’t put more pressure on PSG. They are unbeaten since the World Cup but a slow start to the season where they won only one of their opening five matches has proven costly.
Auxerre find themselves in a relegation battle. They are five points from safety, with four teams relegated from Ligue 1 this season. They have lost their last six league matches and shipped many goals in the process.
Monaco scored seven past Ajaccio in their last home game. Ajaccio are two points ahead of Auxerre heading into this round of fixtures. Phillipe Clement’s side are averaging 2.2 goals per game in front of their own fans this season. They will be confident of putting lowly Auxerre to the sword. The side, who are fourth in Ligue 1, haven’t failed to score in a single league game this season.
Auxerre have the second-worst defensive record in the league. They have conceded 43 goals this season. Their opponents are averaging 2.4 goals per game when they play on the road. Monaco scored three goals in the reverse fixture.

Rennes are battling to qualify for next season’s Champions League. They conquered PSG in mid-January but have since slumped to two defeats in their last three matches in all competitions. They were beaten 2-1 by Lorient in their last match. Bruno Genesio’s men need to bounce back here to avoid dropping down the table.
Strasbourg are three points from safety, coming into this game after a shock victory over Lyon. Le Scornet’s side have a significantly better goal difference than the sides below them in the table.
Rennes have won their nine home matches since an opening-day defeat to Lorient. They are averaging 2.67 goals per game during that run and will be confident of finding the net against a relegation-threatened Strasbourg side. Both teams have scored in eight of Rennes’ last 10 Ligue 1 matches.
Strasbourg have only failed to score in one away league game so far this season. In their last seven matches on the road, they are averaging 1.71 goals per game. Their opponents are averaging two goals per game over that period. The meeting between these sides earlier this season finished 3-1 to Rennes.

PSG have a three-point gap at the top of the table and they have failed to reach the lofty standards set in previous seasons. The title is often taken for granted by the Parisiens but there is plenty of work to do if they want to retain their crown this season.
Montpellier have disappointed this season and they find themselves in 14th. They have drifted further down the table in recent seasons. Getting a result against a PSG side that need the points looks like a tall order.
Montpellier have recorded just one victory over PSG in their last 10 meetings. The Parisiens are averaging 3.5 goals per game in those matches. They are also on a torrid run of form. Romain Pitau was brought in to arrest the slump but he has failed to do so. The team have now lost nine of their last 13 competitive matches.
PSG were poor in their 1-1 draw with Reims and they will want to respond here. Galtier’s men beat Montpellier 5-2 earlier in the season. The team also won this mixture 4-0 last season.
