Fulham vs Newcastle Preview

We’re heading to the Premier League for my first selection as an entertaining Fulham side welcome Newcastle to Craven Cottage. Goals have been a frequent sight in games involving the side from the capital. BTTS and over 2.5 goals has landed in six games from seven including all of the last five.

The matches have not been quite as high-scoring including Eddie Howe’s side however a handful of the sides they have played are not often known for entertaining affairs.

Fulham vs Newcastle Best Bet

This selection only failed to land once this campaign for the newly promoted club. The price on offer at 2.20 is certainly one I’m happy to side with.

12 goals have been scored in just three matches at Craven Cottage this season, Newcastle arrive here as favourites to win the match but Fulham have been underappreciated in this one. Mitrovic has been outstanding this season and will want to get himself another Premier League goal against his former employers.

Bristol City vs QPR Preview

My second selection sees us stay in England but this time head to the Championship as top scorers Bristol City host QPR on Saturday afternoon where I’m backing the hosts to score a couple of goals at Ashton Gate.

The home side have scored multiple times in seven games from ten this season and in all four games at home, scoring exactly two on each occasion.

QPR have conceded 11 times this season and six in five matches on the road but will be right against it here against a very attack-minded Bristol City side who have been keen on the eye this campaign.

The price of 2.10 is a little generous here. 20-year-old Tommy Conway has had an excellent start to the season after scoring five in his last seven Championship appearances. Nahki Wells has also bagged five times whilst Antoine Semeyo has netted three in just 155 minutes of league action.

Lorient vs Lille Preview

The midday kickoff on Sunday in France looks an absolute cracker on paper, two sides who have started the season strongly in terms of scoring goals but have also struggled to keep them out at the other end.

Lorient have scored 17 times and conceded 12 in eight matches. Lille have scored and conceded 16 in the opening stages. BTTS has banked in all eight games including the visitors and six from eight in matches Lorient have been present. That lays a strong foundation for an exciting match.

This selection has landed in 13/16 matches combined between these two clubs, a price of even money is on offer for a repeat and I’m more than happy to get onside with that.

As many, I’m expecting an entertaining 90 minutes which should hopefully see multiple goals scored with each side managing to chip in as they’ve done so all campaign.

Kaiserslautern vs Braunschweig Preview

Germany, Bundesliga 2, Sunday, October 2nd, 12:30 (UK)

Heading to the German second flight with my next selection as 7th placed Kaiserslautern host Braunschweig in 16th at the Fritz Walter Stadion on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts are the division’s second-highest scorers after nine matches. They have bagged 18 times since the opening day. Only one side has conceded more than the visitors and I’m expecting the hosts to have some joy in front of goal once again.

In seven games from nine, the home side has scored two or more goals this season whilst this selection has banked in six games from nine against the newly promoted club.

Kaiserslautern vs Braunschweig Best Bet

Given the impressive scoring figures from the home side, I’m happy to get with them at home on Sunday, it’s a good price on offer at 1.80.

Braunschweig have not had a good time on their travels, they’ve conceded 11 times in just four outings. Seven goals have been scored by the home side in their two most recent home matches so they’ll be fancying themselves to have another joyful afternoon.

Kristiansund vs Rosenborg Preview

Norway, Eliteserien, Sunday, October 2nd, 18:00 (UK)

Personally, this is the standout game in the Eliteserien this weekend. The great escape is on for the home side but they need points and fast.

Goals just look like a great bet here, I expect both sides to score which is always a great help to the cause. In the last five matches, 22 goals scored have been scored in Rosenborg’s matches and 19 in clashes involving Kristiansund.

Despite the goal line being set at 3.00, I’m still confident this bet will have a great chance of landing. The last nine Rosenborg matches have seen at least three goals scored and six of the last seven for the home side have seen three plus goals.

This game will most likely be a case of who can outscore the other, both sides need the points for different reasons in the last few games of the season.

43 goals have been scored in Rosenborg’s 12 away matches whilst 41 have been scored in Kristiansund’s 11 home clashes this campaign, the stats are well in our favour here.
