When you’re coming here for a punt, you want one of substance. An excuse to back something stupidly big. And given the stage of the season that we are at, excuses are rife.

So, will a 10,432.80 keeper card, result combination trixie tickle your fancy? I hope so because I really cannot see how this does not win…

Middlesbrough vs Coventry Preview

England, Championship Monday, May 8th, 15:00 (UK)

I have one selection from the Championship and two from the Premier League.

The second tier fixture in question takes place at the Riverside, where Middlesbrough host Coventry.

The formers place in the play-offs was confirmed a couple of games ago, and with the automatic’s also wrapped up, Boro have had little to play for recently.

With that in mind, Micheal Carrick has been precarious, resting and rotating to avoid any injuries ahead of the play-offs.

Coventry need a point to confirm their top six status, depending on how Millwall do, they may finish fifth or sixth.

Coventry head to the Riverside at 15:00 on Monday afternoon.

A point will do for the Robins, and with that in mind, surely they will be pulling out all the stops to ensure they head home with a result.

It is very likely that Carrick will put out a second-string side, with one eye on the play-offs, and this only aids the selection.

Combining the visitors’ stopper Ben Wilson for a card with a Coventry double chance is the selection.

The 15.00 for a Wilson card looks huge considering he has five to his name already this campaign.

He has picked up bookings for time-wasting, arguments and fouls. This bodes well for this angle, it also does not hurt that one of those cards came in the reverse.
