We’re back with some West Ham vs Arsenal bet builder tips this Sunday. It’s a massive match in the race for the top 4 as the Gunners aim to move closer to Champions League qualification.

West Ham also have Champions League qualification as a goal. They’ll need a different route as they prepare to play the second leg of their Europa League semi-final next week in Lyon. It’s a tight turnaround for David Moyes’ men who played the first leg on Thursday night.

It’s a fixture that Arsenal have dominated in the past. West Ham have lost more Premier League matches against Arsenal than they have against any other opponent. It was 2-0 to the Gunners when the sides met in the reverse fixture back in December. Arsenal have won four of their last five against the Hammers.

But the Gunners have had a troubled few weeks, especially on the road. They had lost four out of five matches in the Premier League before last week. That all changed with a three-day spell that saw them beat Chelsea and Manchester United. The Gunners have, however, lost two of their last three on the road.

West Ham’s last win over Arsenal at home was back in 2019. Declan Rice got the only goal of the match for the Hammers. That was their only win over Arsenal from the last 14 attempts at home in all competitions.

I think Bukayo Saka will have a big say on this match. The forward has played a starring role for Arsenal in recent matches with two goals in two. He’s also been at the forefront of shooting opportunities and has had at least three shots in each of his last four matches.

Corners look like a value bet here too. Arsenal’s last two matches haven’t produced too many corners but I expect this one will be different. They should take an approach similar to the one taken against Southampton and Brighton. Those matches saw 14 and 13 corners respectively.

West Ham vs Arsenal Stats and Facts

  • Arsenal have won 13 Premier League away matches against West Ham. That’s more than they’ve won against any other side
  • West Ham haven’t lost any of their last six Premier League home matches. Another game without defeat here will be their longest run since April 2016
  • Arsenal usually shine towards the end of the season. The Gunners have won more Premier League matches in May than any other side. They have the highest win percentage in May in Premier League history at 59%
  • West Ham have gone three Premier League matches without a victory. They haven’t gone four in a row since December 2020
  • Bukayo Saka could become only the second Arsenal player to score penalties in three consecutive Premier League matches if he gets one from the spot here

West Ham vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips

  • Match Result will be Arsenal
  • Over 9 Corners in the Match
  • Bukayo Saka over 2.5 Shots in the Match
  • Over 70.5 Passes in the Match for Gabriel Magalhaes

West Ham vs Arsenal Bet Builder Odds: 11.00

I’m expecting an Arsenal win with plenty of corners as previously mentioned. Bukayo Saka should play a starring role and get plenty of the ball for shooting opportunities. I’m expecting the Gunners to see a lot of the ball so backing Gabriel over 70.5 passes looks a good bet too.

WHAT IS A BET BUILDER?

A bet builder is a kind of accumulator bet solely focussed on one match. A standard acca features multiple selections across different selections combined together into one bet. If one selection loses, the whole bet loses. A bet builder is similar but each selection is placed on the same match. Similar to the American prop bet, the bet builder goes into detail on a single match. Common selections include match outcome, total goals, cards, corners, and players to score.
