Wales vs Iran Preview
World Cup Group A, Friday, November 25th, 10:00 (UK)
Wales began their World Cup campaign with a draw against the USA. They now need three points from Iran with England waiting for them in their final group match. Gareth Bale earned a point for his side by converting a penalty late on. Wales were extremely poor in the first half and will need to hit the ground running on Friday. Goal difference could yet have an impact on the outcome of this group.
Iran were lakclustre in their first match. England looked sharp and were able to capitalise on Iran’s sloppy play at the back. They did manage to grab two goals so the Welsh will have to wary of the threat posed.
Wales vs Iran Best Bet
This will be one of the biggest matches in Welsh football history. After initially looking overawed in the first half, Wales grew into the game and played with a higher intensity after the break. Rob Page’s side made 11 tackles in the second half and 7 in the first. Expect them to carry that second-half intensity from the first minute against Iran.
Wales are averaging 15.57 tackles per game in their last seven matches. England had 13 tackles against Iran despite having 78% of the ball. It’s a must-win fixture and Page’s men should waste no time in getting stuck in. Iran are a physical team so over 14.5 tackles for Wales looks a good bet here.
- Over 14.5 Wales Tackles (TRACKED TIP)
- Best Odds: 2.00 (bet365)
- Stakes: 7/10
Qatar vs Senegal Preview
World Cup Group B, Friday, November 25th, 16:00 (UK)
The hosts had solid preparation for the tournament and have put in some good performances in the years leading up to the World Cup. That all came undone as they took on Ecuador in the opening match. Goalkeeping errors and a passive defensive display meant they never really got close to Ecuador. The second half was played out at a leisurely and Qatar will have to show more fight as they take on Senegal.
The African side were rocked by Sadio Mane’s injury prior to the tournament but responded well against the Netherlands. The Dutch needed two late goals to sink Senegal. However, Alio Cisse’s men created plenty of chances of their own.
Qatar vs Senegal Best Bet
The occasion looked too big for Qatar on Sunday. It should be more of the same when they face Senegal. The African side should have plenty of attempts on goal as they search for their first three points of the tournament.
Senegal had 15 shots against the Netherlands and the will be an even greater air of desperation about their performance in this game. If they don’t score early, we are likely to see them throw bodies forward to join the attack.
Senegal are averaging 15.2 shots in their last five competitive matches.
- Selection: Senegal Over 13.5 Shots (TRACKED TIP)
- Best Odds: 1.80 (Bet365)
- Stakes: 7/10
England vs USA Preview
World Cup Group A, Friday, November 25th, 19:00 (UK)
England put their poor form behind them in that opening match. The attack looked incisive – whether it was those that started or the ones that came off the bench. It will take a very good USA performance to contain that threat for 90 minutes.
The USA were in control of the first half against Wales. They dominated possession and could have scored more than they did. The second-half performance will be cause for concern. Wales created some big chances of their own and got what they deserved by securing a draw.
England vs USA Best Bet
England should come flying out of the blocks on the back of that confidence-building result against Iran. Southgate’s side have a great opportunity to secure early qualification to the knockout stages. England are averaging 15.29 tackles per game in competitive matches in 2022.
USA’s opponents in 2022 are averaging 17.14 tackles per game. They have many players who like to dribble with the ball and England will have to watch out for the talents of Christian Pulisic and Timothy Weah on Friday night. The United States should see more of the ball than Iran so expect England to make a couple more tackles in this one.

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL ACCA?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
