Tunisia vs Australia Preview

World Cup Group D, Saturday, November 26th, 10:00 (UK)

We’re starting with the first kick-off on Saturday morning as the two underdogs in Group D meet in Al Wakrah. Tunisia started their World Cup campaign with a goalless draw against Denmark whilst the Socceroos were well beaten by the current holders, France.

Much like that Group B match between Wales and Iran, a draw here will be the worst possible result for either side. Winning this clash is a must if either nation has any chance of qualifying for the latter stages of the competition. Goals could be the best bet here.

Tunisia racked up 0.92 xG in their opener against the Danes, registering 13 shots within the 90 minutes. They’ll have to be a little more clinical here against an Aussie side who gave up a whopping 4.21 xG versus Deschamps’ side on Tuesday night.

Tunisia vs Australia Best Bet

The goal line is set at 2.25 which looks a nice way in. There needs to be a winner in this clash so we could see an entertaining matchup.

Australia scored the opener in their defeat to France which will provide some confidence despite the scoreline, desperation will likely kick in if a team is trailing, leading to a wide-open affair in the latter stages.

  • Selection: Over 2.25 Goals (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 1.99 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Poland vs Saudi Arabia Preview

World Cup Group C, Saturday, November 26th, 13:00 (UK)

Poland and Saudi Arabia will go toe-to-toe at the Education City Stadium in the second match on Saturday. The Poles were held 0-0 by Mexico whilst Saudi Arabia stunned the world, let alone Argentina. They came back from behind to win 2-1 on Tuesday morning.

Robert Lewandowski saw his penalty saved in the opening group game in 90 minutes during which Poland created very little. Just six shots in the entire 90 for Lewandowski and co, including that ill-fated penalty for the Barcelona man. Saudi Arabia beat Argentina against the run of play which doesn’t come as any surprise. They amassed just three shots totalling 0.15 xG.

With Herve Renard’s side earning that shock win, they’ll be more than happy with a point here against a Poland side who’ll have the tricky task of breaking them down. The victory over Argentina was the first time in 20 matches that three or more goals were scored.

Poland vs Saudi Arabia Best Bet

Never fun backing the unders but this clash could be a tedious one, the Saudis know they can defend against the very best. A Polish side that lacked ideas up front will have their work cut out here.

With the goal line set at 2.25, seeing two or fewer goals will provide at least a half-win in this match. The Saudis’ recent record of late goals provides plenty of confidence here, so let’s hope for a dull display in this one.

  • Selection: Under 2.25 Goals (TRACKED BET)
  • Best Odds: 2.01 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Argentina vs Mexico Preview

World Cup Group D, Saturday, November 26th, 16:00 (UK)

Stunned, and that’s an understatement. Argentina were expected to wipe the floor with Saudi Arabia but they suffered an opening-round defeat at the Lusail Iconic Stadium. A quickfire double from the underdogs just after the break shocked the world.

A win here is a must for Lionel Scaloni’s men. They’ve not lost against their South American counterparts since 2004, winning the previous three all to nil, despite only being friendlies.

Mexico didn’t really impress against Poland. They failed to create any real goalscoring opportunities. They’ll certainly be up against it here with an Argentina side desperate to quickly put their embarrassing defeat firmly behind them.

Argentina are strong favourites here, priced around 1.55 to pick up maximum points. Gerardo Martino’s side are upwards of 6.50. I do expect a reaction from the Copa America champions and grab the win.

Argentina vs Mexico Best Bet

Argentina are priced at slightly under evens on the Asian Handicap market. The -1 is available at 1.98 with bet365 which is a price I’m happy to get behind. They have plenty of talent throughout the squad, there’s no doubting that.

It should be a pretty intense 90 minutes in Lusail but ultimately Argentina should be expected to come out on top on Saturday night.

  • Selection: Argentina -1 Asian Handicap (TRACKED)
  • Best Odds: 1.980 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Odds as at 13:00 November 25th 2022. Odds may now differ.

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL ACCA?

A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
