The Super Bowl frontrunner Buffalo Bills are favoured by 10 points over the Tennessee Titans for the first of a Monday Night Football double-header. Tennessee has Derrick Henry healthy this season, but their stock is particularly low following a Week 1 loss to the New York Giants.
Buffalo lost their road game against Tennessee in 2021, and Week 2 has been the week of the underdog, but it would take something special from the Titans to even keep this close after their performance in Week 1.

After making offseason moves to bolster their defence, the Bills held the Rams to just 10 points in the season opener. Part of that can be attributed to Los Angeles’ weaknesses, but it also doesn’t bode well for their opponents in the rest of this regular season. Tennessee’s offence is already a point of scepticism – they have their work cut out to put up a competitive points total on Monday night.
While a 10-point spread is a bit more than we’re comfortable with, pushing Buffalo down to -6.5 is a good way to start this bet builder. The Bills should win this by more than a touchdown.
The Titans put up just 20 points on the Giants. Derrick Henry was below four yards per attempt, and Ryan Tannehill’s receiving corps doesn’t inspire much confidence. Buffalo completely shut down the Rams’ running game, and will fancy their chances of doing the same here.
Time will come off the clock with the Titans forcing the ball to Henry. Buffalo will also be happy to take time out of the game should they get a lead early on. The Titans’ team total is set at 17.5 – they went under this mark in four of their final eight games last season.

Diving into the player props, Josh Allen is obviously the first place to look. Allen was masterful in the win over the Rams. Posting 56 yards on the ground and 297 in the air with three touchdowns, bettors can talk themselves into any mix of Allen props. With the Titans giving up almost 240 rushing yards to the Giants, though, Allen’s rushing yards for over 40.5 is the pick of the bets. The MVP candidate averaged 44.9 rushing yards per game in the 2021 regular season.
Allen’s chemistry with Stefon Diggs is the basis of the Bills’ air attack. Diggs opened his touchdown account in Week 1, and finished with over 100 receiving yards on 15.25 yards per reception. He had 89 receiving yards and a touchdown when Buffalo faced the Titans in 2021. Diggs to score a touchdown anytime is a great wager with the Bills expected to dominate, taking this to 6.50.
