Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons Bet Builder Tips: Surprising Falcons to Keep it Close in 5.00 Bet Builder

Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons Bet Builder Tips: Sunday, October 23rd
Not many people expected the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons to share the same record coming into this Week 7 matchup. Cincinnati has disappointed to sit 3-3, while Atlanta have been a surprisingly competitive club with a perfect 6-0 record against the spread through six weeks.
Favoured by 6.5 points for this game, the Bengals have taken two of their three wins by more than a touchdown, but they are just 1-1 at home. Atlanta is yet to lose by more than six points, and put in a spectacular all-round performance to beat the San Francisco 49ers last week.

Atlanta has been able to stay competitive even with a relatively weak roster, and without Cordarrelle Patterson since Week 4. Their offence (eighth in points scored per game) is doing enough, and the defence is getting sufficient stops to keep them in games, having not conceded more than 23 points since Week 2.
That formula should enable them to stay in this game, with the Bengals not being quite as dynamic offensively as projected.
Staying within a touchdown remains a big ask, though, so let’s opt for an alternate spread to give us some margin for error.
While the Bengals offence hasn’t been blowing teams out, Joe Burrow is still posting big numbers. Only four are throwing more touchdowns per game. Just seven are completing more passes. The former first overall pick has had 200 or more passing yards in all but one game this season (the time he missed out, he finished with 199). A line of 285.5 is tricky to call, so take the milestone market of 200+ yards.
The Falcons have scored at least two touchdowns in each of their games this season. If they are to stay within striking distance, the offence will need to continue to produce, and there is reason to believe they will do so.
Cincinnati’s defence has been bend-but-don’t-break, rarely giving up touchdowns, but Atlanta has consistently found ways to get to the endzone. This offence has put up 23 or more points in five of its six games – if it is to do so again, at least a couple of touchdowns are required.

With the other picks suggesting a good amount of scoring in this game, it makes sense to expect a quick start. Atlanta has the fourth-highest scoring average in the first quarter, and Cincinnati is in joint-fifth with an average of 5.7 points in the first period. Both teams to score in the first quarter seems a very reasonable wager as a result.
- Atlanta Falcons +10.5
- Joe Burrow 200+ passing yards
- Atlanta Falcons over 1.5 touchdowns
- Both teams to score in first quarter
