There is a low total for this game at 37, partly because of the Jets’ anaemic offence and strong defence. New York has seen the under cash in nine of its 14 games. Jacksonville has landed the over in eight of 14, plus has scored 76 points over the last two weeks.

The Jags have not gone under this line since Week 5. New York are just 23rd in scoring, and the conditions could be pretty bleak, but this number just seems too low with the firepower Jacksonville possess. Even the Jets’ offence should enjoy some success here.

There is fair scepticism about both Zach Wilson and Trevor Lawrence. The latter, though, has led the Jags’ offence to two impressive performances over the last couple of weeks, clocking seven passing touchdowns in the process.

New York is an exceptional defensive team, but they have conceded 67 points and six touchdowns over their last three games. With how Lawrence has played of late, the over on 1.5 passing touchdowns represents decent value for this game.

The Jacksonville defence has been porous all season long. Only seven teams have allowed more touchdowns. Just four teams concede more net yards per pass attempt. The rushing defence has been effective, but they have conceded 100 or more ground yards in five consecutive games.

Over the last three games, only three teams have passed the ball more frequently than the Jets. Wilson’s performance, to put it mildly, has been inconsistent. Backing his props in either direction might feel risky, but he has gone over this pass-completion line in three of four.

Jacksonville are aggressive in rushing the passer, which can open up opportunities for Wilson to pick out receivers. There are just seven teams with more completions allowed than the Jags – take the over.

While the Jets should be able to put some points on the board, it is clear the Jags have been the better team recently.
