Arsenal vs Tottenham Bet Builder Tips: Saturday, October, 1st

With another international break behind us, it means our Arsenal vs Tottenham bet builder tips are not all that far away either. The focus will be on whether the hosts can stay up top of the Premier League table.

Attention must also be given to their North London rivals. With Antonio Conte’s men having thrashed Leicester during their last league outing, they will hope the recent hiatus has not cooled them down.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Preview

Saturday, October 1st, 12:30 (UK)

Arsenal have won six of their first seven Premier League matches of the season, while Tottenham are yet to taste defeat. Just one point separates the two before Saturday afternoon so matters are neatly poised before the weekend.

While this latest North London skirmish will go some way to confirming whether the Gunners are truly the real deal or not. Should they win, talk of a genuine title tilt will only get louder.

Should they lose to their nearest rivals, it will only add more fuel to Tottenham’s fire. With Antonio Conte already going toe to toe with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and coming away largely unscathed, the Italian will certainly be up for another fight against Arsenal.

Especially as Tottenham have something of a score to settle here. After being embarrassed here under Nuno Espirito Santo’s brief tutelage, the memory of last season’s 3-1 defeat is a rather vivid one.

However, this current Spurs crop is made of sterner stuff. Although they did ship two goals at home to Leicester before the international break, they were emphatic enough to score six at the other end.

Three of those came from Heung min-Son and after being dropped to the bench, the South Korean then reminded everyone what he is truly capable of in front of goal. Great timing from Antonio Conte’s point of view, not so much from Mikel Arteta’s.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Stats & Facts

  • Arsenal have won their last two home league outings against Tottenham. The last time they won three in a row was between February 2012 and September 2013.
  • While they have also lost just one of their last 29 home derby clashes with Spurs. Their last defeat was the 3-2 Emirates reverse in November 2010.
  • Harry Kane has scored the most goals in North London derby history with 13 to his name before the weekend.
  • If Tottenham win on Saturday, it will be the first time the team at the top of the Premier League has been replaced by the side they have just lost to.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Bet Builder

Although Arsenal are the form team in the Premier League before the weekend. Still, the formbook has a habit of going out of the window for derby matches. Therefore, I am not prepared to put all my eggs in the Gunners’ basket.

This means I have opted for Tottenham in the double chance market. Although the draw itself is priced at 3.75, I have decided to give myself another option to play with before Saturday.

Because although Tottenham have a habit of melting at this ground, they are yet to come here under the stewardship of Antonio Conte. Things could well be different this time around.

Not only that but the North London Derby has been synonymous with Harry Kane in recent years and with the England captain already scoring 13 goals in this fixture, it is certainly not unlucky for him.

This is why I have placed him to score anytime on my coupon and for those with more of an Arsenal persuasion, Gabriel Jesus can be found in the same market at the tempting price of 2.50.

While with it being a North London derby, there is no doubt that this will be a feisty affair and therefore, I have a hunch that referee Anthony Taylor will display at least one disciplinary card to either side.

With Harry Kane tipped to score one goal at the Emirates, I only want a maximum of three in total for my bet builder and with under four total goals serving as my final selection, the combined odds are currently set at an inviting 7.00.

  • Tottenham win or draw
  • Harry Kane to score anytime
  • Both teams to receive a card – yes
  • Under 4 total goals

Bet Builder odds: 7.00

Odds via bet365 as at 11:30 September 29th 2022. Odds may now differ.
