Here at bettingexpert Expert Insights, we have selected our favourite bets of the weekend which cover the Asian Line markets that may take your fancy.
In this article:
England, League 2, Saturday, January 14th, 15:00 (UK)
The hosts are sitting pretty in 1st place in League 2. They boast the best defence and have scored the third-most goals in the division after 25 matches. When playing at Brisbane Road, they’ve performed exceptionally earning 32 points from a possible 39.
Despite the visitors sitting in sixth, away performances are not quite up to standard, Pete Wild’s side have played 12 times on their travels and have accumulated just 14 points.
Richie Wellens and his team have kept an impressive seven clean sheets in a row in front of the home support. It may not be fun for the neutrals but of course, results mean more than the performance.
Orient are priced at 1.900 on the Asian line markets here, they’ve proven their worth since the opening day and can cause enough problems in attack but have a resolute defence. The ‘O’s have recorded a remarkable 16 shutouts in those 25 matches, a huge percentage more than any other side in the fourth tier.

Scotland, Championship, Saturday, January 14th, 15:00 (UK)
Heading to the Scottish Championship as league leaders, Queen’s Park visit the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium where I’m keen to back the away side on the 0.0 Asian line.
Owen Coyle’s side are in tremendous form, they’ve walked away victorious eight times on the spin scoring multiple times in each and most recently won 6-0 last weekend in Aberdeen, so confidence levels should be through the roof.
Inverness have played 10 times at home, winning just three with two of those victories coming against Cove Rangers, who have the worst away record in the Championship. They have won back-to-back games with a scoreline reading 10-2 but haven’t beaten their upcoming opponents in two attempts this campaign.
Queen’s Park are reasonable favourites to win here which doesn’t come as a huge surprise. The Asian line is offering 1.725 for +0, which is equivalent to Draw No Bet. Owen’s men are in electric form and have been scoring for fun in recent weeks and will want to earn a good result here in order to maintain their four-point lead at the top.

England, Premier League, Saturday, January 14th, 15:00 (UK)
At first glance, this game looks a cracker. Neither side can defend but are creating goalscoring chances for fun. Brighton’s previous seven matches in the top flight have seen three or more goals scored with both sides contributing.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been amongst plenty of entertaining matches as of late, all five matches since the return have seen three or more goals scored with four of those seeing the proposed selection paying out.
These sides met at Anfield on October 1st, which was Roberto De Zerbi’s first game as the Brighton boss, it ended 3-3 that afternoon in a thrilling affair.
With both sides scoring and conceding plenty we could see this game end with heaps of goals, the visitors have plenty of problems in midfield and defence which will be targeted by the Seagulls.
These sides sit third and sixth for over 3.5 goal stats in the league which provides some confidence. If the attacking players on both sides are in form then this could quite easily be the game of the day across the country.

High-flying Burnley welcome Coventry on Saturday afternoon as Vincent Kompany’s men look to make it eight consecutive league victories at Turf Moor. Mark Robins’ side have lost five of their 12 matches on their travels this campaign which includes the previous two.
The Clarets have won the xG battle in all of their previous seven wins in front of their home fans. No team has scored more goals than their 29 when the hosts and only two sides have conceded fewer goals than the league leaders.
There have been 13 different scorers this campaign for Kompany’s men with five players scoring at least five this term. They’ve enjoyed more possession than their opponents in every single home game and earned all three points in a dominant win at Coventry earlier in the season.
The Asian line is set at -0.75 for the hosts which means they will have to win by two or more goals for the bet to payout in full, a half-win if they win by exactly one.
Coventry suffered a 4-3 defeat in the FA Cup against National League side, Wrexham, last weekend. A trip to the best side in the league couldn’t have come at a worse time for the club.
Burnley have scored multiple goals in six of their previous seven wins. They’ve won by two or more in all of the last three so they have every chance of extending that run to four.
England, League 2, Saturday, January 14th, 15:00 (UK)
It’s a massive game at the bottom end of League 2 as Rochdale welcome Colchester to Spotland Stadium, the hosts are favourites but I’m keen to get onside with the visitors after seeing some of their transfer business.
Rochdale have the worst home record in the league. They’ve accumulated just eight points from 12 home matches. Colchester struggle on the road but if they avoid defeat we receive some profit.
In recent days, Colchester have achieved the signatures of forward Matt Jay from Exeter, the highly-rated Connor Hall from Port Vale and both Connor Wood and Arthur Read who have arrived from each of the top two sides in the division.
Those additions will provide plenty of improvements for Matt Bloomfield’s side who have won their last two games and three of the last four.
With the Asian Handicap allowing profit if Colchester avoid defeat, it seems like a really nice angle to get behind. The new signings may take some time to settle in with their surroundings and the way the team like to set up. They’ll certainly add quality to the current squad as they look to move away from the foot of the table.

Kasimpasa and Karagumruk meet at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadyumu on Sunday afternoon and if the recent results of these two sides are anything to go by, we can expect goals.
Both sides have played four times since the break. 14 goals were scored in Kasimpasa’s fixtures with three or more landing in all of those. There has been a massive 20 goals in the four matches involving Karagumruk, with three, five, and two six-goal thrillers in that time.
The goal line is set at three on the Asian markets which of course is asking for four goals in order for the bet to pay out but with recent high-scoring affairs. This match should have every chance of seeing another high-scoring 90 minutes.
All the stats are well in our favour with this one, all four of the previous meetings between these two sides have seen four goals or more.
Mbaye Diagne and Fabio Borini are second and fourth in the goalscorer rankings for the away side who have scored and conceded the second most in the division. They’ll definitely be looking to score multiple goals here but on the other hand will struggle to keep them out, given that Andrea Pirlo’s side kept just three clean sheets all season.
