Selection 1: Liverpool vs Leeds – Liverpool -2.5 (AH)
It’s about as big of a mismatch as it comes. I imagine Leeds will have to hold on for deer life as they go to Anfield for this match. They’ve lost three in a row, conceding 14 goals in the process.
They now face a Liverpool side in inspired goalscoring form. The Reds have won six of their last seven. They’ve scored at least twice in 13 of their last 15 Premier League matches. I expect that to continue so I’m backing the Reds to give Leeds a good stuffing.

Selection 2: Wolves vs Watford – Watford +0.25 (AH)
It’s a clash of styles at Molineux. It’s usually sound advice to go under on goals whenever Wolves are playing. They’ve had an average of 0.57 goals per game in their last seven Premier League matches.
But Wolves now face a high-scoring, high-conceding Watford side. The Hornets have had over 2.5 goals in each of their last five and an average of 4.2 goals in those matches. Instead, I’m looking at the Asian lines. I’m backing Claudio Ranieri’s side plus a quarter of a goal here. I think they’ll have the final sleigh.

Selection 3: West Ham vs Southampton – Southampton +0.25 (AH)
West Ham are on their worst run of form in a while. The Hammers have lost three of their last six league games. That’s as many as they lost in the 16 Premier League games before then. They haven’t scored in their last two and star forward Michail Antonio is on his longest goal drought for almost two years.
I’m backing the Saints to get something from this one. They’ve only lost one of their last four and were unfortunate not to get more from their game against Crystal Palace last time out. After all, Christmas is a time for Saints.

Selection 4: Tottenham vs Crystal Palace – Over 2.5 Goals
I expect a flurry of goals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both Teams to Score was tempting but I went for over on goals instead which gives more possibilities for the scoreline. Tottenham have had over 2.5 goals in all but one of the matches that Antonio Conte has been in charge for. Most of those games should have had more goals as well. I don’t think this one will be any different against a Palace side that has scored five in two.

Selection 5: Norwich vs Arsenal – Arsenal -1.5 (AH)
Arsenal are on a fine run of form and the bookies expect them to get another win here. Dean Smith’s Norwich have stabilised after that new manager’s bounce in November. I don’t expect the Canaries to pick up too many points in the next few weeks starting here.
I think the Gunners will start scoring more goals moving into the second half of the season. They’ve found some attacking chemis-tree with Alexandre Lacazette, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the front three. I can see them securing a comfortable win here.

Selection 6: Manchester City vs Leicester – Over 3 Goals
I think there’ll be myrrh than a few goals here. I’m going for over 3 goals between Manchester City and Leicester. City are on an excellent run of goalscoring form with 11 in their last two. They’ve kept three clean sheets in a row but I don’t see them getting another one here.
Leicester have a solid record against Pep Guardiola’s men with two wins in four. They won this fixture 5-2 last season. I can see both sides going for it in a high-scoring match.

Selection 7: Burnley vs Everton – Burnley +0
Burnley are once again blessing everyone with their presents on my acca card. I’ve backed Sean Dyche’s men plus a small handicap many times in the last few months. I’m doing so again with a plus zero against Everton.
It’s one win in 11 Premier League matches for the Toffees. Rafael Benitez’s men have scored in each of their last four and I expect them to get another one. Still, I think the win is too much to ask for against an organised Burnley side that isn’t missing too many players.

Selection 8: Aston Villa vs Chelsea – Over 2.5 Goals
I’m going for a high-scoring match between Aston Villa and Chelsea. I can see both sides getting on the scoresheet here as Villa have done in every home game they’ve played this season. They face a Chelsea team that has only kept one clean sheet in six matches. They kept four in the six games before then.
Chelsea are missing multiple key players and I considered backing Villa plus a small handicap. I wouldn’t be surprised if Steven Gerrard’s men inflicted the holiday blues on Chelsea. I think over on goals is a better way to go, just in case Chelsea bounce back now that some key players are returning to fitness.

Selection 9: Brighton vs Brentford – Under 2.25 Goals
Let’s wrap things up with Brighton vs Brentford. I don’t think this day of festive fixtures will end with a bang. The Seagulls against the Bees isn’t the most attractive match of the week on paper. I think it will play out that way considering Brighton have had under 2.5 goals in each of their last six Premier League matches. I can see another one here.
