The Bank Holiday weekend Premier League fixtures conclude with a massive relegation six-pointer and we’ve got Leicester vs Everton bet builder tips.
These sides currently occupy two of the three relegation spots. The Foxes are just one point from safety with the Toffees a point behind them. A win for either side would be a truly massive three points in their battle for survival. Defeat for either though would make the prospect of Championship football next season a distinct possibility.

This will be Leicester’s second clash with a relegation rival in the space of a week. Sharing the spoils with Leeds in a tense and frenetic 1-1 draw at Elland Road last Tuesday. Dean Smith was disappointed his side didn’t come away with all three points but would have taken great heart from the performance of some of his key men.
The Foxes also saw two efforts chalked off for offside. The first inside 10 minutes as a Youri Tielemans piledriver was ruled out after a VAR check. With Jamie Vardy correctly flagged offside when he thought he had snatched a late winner. Leicester also illustrated the threat they have from the bench with Smith praising the impact of his subs and how they added much needed penetration. He will also be hoping Vardy’s first goal in six months will now lead to one or two more vital strikes before the season’s end.
Everton are facing the real possibility of a first relegation since 1951. Feeding off the fervent atmosphere at Goodison Park they started well in their most recent clash on Thursday. However eventually succumbed to a 4-1 beating at the hands of the upwardly mobile Newcastle. Seven goals conceded in the last two home games is not the solidity and resilience we expected from a Sean Dyche side. Coupled with being the lowest scorers in the division is a recipe for exiting it.
Leicester have made a positive start under Dean Smith. There is no tougher first game than Manchester City away. At 3-0 down after 25 minutes the former Walsall, Brentford, Aston Villa and Norwich boss must have been fearing the worst. A moral victory of winning the second half gave some belief to his beleaguered team.
Followed up with a huge win in his only home game in charge so far. Smith has taken the shackles off his Foxes. Starting with three strikers in that Wolves win. He is also known for being a well liked coach amongst players, certainly in the early stages of his tenure. This appears to be working for Jamie Vardy who after a barron season is showing glimpses of his old self.
They will fancy their chances against an Everton side with no win in six. As has been the case in recent campaigns, the Toffees away form is terrible. Just one win on the road all season and that way back in October against the only side that has fewer points than them this term.
With Leicester’s attacking talent they will fancy getting on the scoresheet against visitors with just two clean sheets away from home. If they manage to do so, they will take a huge stride towards securing the victory with Everton failing to score in nine of their last 12 road games.
Having recovered from illness, James Maddison came back into the Leicester side against Leeds and was exceptional. The 26-Year-Old was at the heart of everything good his team did. Linking well with Patson Daka before bursting into the box and supplying the pass for Vardy to slot home the equaliser.
That was the English midfielder’s 16th direct goal involvement of the season having fired nine goals and supplied seven assists. He will get plenty of opportunities to showcase his talents in front of the cameras this Monday night. Expect him to add to at least one of those columns.
