Horse Racing Premier League Acca Tips: Saturday 22nd January
It’s another week of Premier League acca tips and there are five matches on my card this Saturday. This set of Premier League acca tips has selections from Manchester City’s trip to Southampton and manager-less Everton against Aston Villa. I can see an update on the cards as David Moyes and West Ham travel to Manchester United. I’ve got selections from five matches in my Premier League acca tips in this article:

Selection 1: Everton vs Aston Villa Best Bet – Everton -0.25 (AH)
I’m backing Everton to get a result when they meet Aston Villa on Saturday. The manager-less Toffees should put in a convincing performance in this winnable match. Duncan Ferguson will take charge of Everton for the foreseeable future and I expect them to start picking up points.
That’s usually the case when a manager departs. We see almost half of new Premier League managers win their first game in charge of their new club. Ferguson himself had a fantastic stint as interim boss of the Toffees back in December 2019. Aston Villa have impressed of late but I can see them dropping points soon. It could be here and these odds are too good to turn down.

Selection 2: Brentford vs Wolves Best Bet – Brentford +0 (AH)
Another side that has overachieved lately are Wolves. Bruno Lage’s men are one of the form sides in the Premier League but I can see them dropping points here. I’ve got Brentford +0 in the Asian lines down on my card. The Bees are due a good result and have made the Brentford Community Stadium a difficult place for away teams.
Brentford’s form doesn’t make for good reading but that’s ignoring their record at home. Brentford have actually won three of their last five home matches in the Premier League. The two they lost were against Manchester City and Manchester United. They can get a result against a Wolves side that hasn’t scored more than once in a Premier League away game since October.
Selection 3: Leeds vs Newcastle Best Bet – Under 2.5 Goals
I’m going for a low-scoring match between Leeds and Newcastle. Marcelo Bielsa’s men look like they’re sorting out their defensive issues. They’ve been on a dire run of late. Leeds have conceded 19 goals in their last six league games. That’s more than they let in during the 13 games before then. I expect them to revert back to the Leeds of old and keep the scoreline low against Newcastle. The odds are good here.
Selection 4: Manchester United vs West Ham Best Bet – West Ham +0.25 (AH)
I’m backing an upset at Old Trafford. West Ham United look a good bet to get a result against Manchester United. The Hammers have already won at Old Trafford once this season – they beat United 1-0 in a League Cup match at the start of the campaign. I fully expect them to come away from Old Trafford with at least a point on Saturday.
They’ve improved of late. West Ham may have lost to Leeds but that put an end to a three-game winning run. They’re scoring goals freely. The Hammers have scored at least twice in their last five league games.
United, meanwhile have probably picked up more points than they’ve deserved. They’re amongst the form teams in the Premier League but haven’t passed the eye test. That’s a sure sign that results will start going against them soon. They’ve struggled at Old Trafford all season long with four defeats in their last eight games there in the league. They’ve only kept one clean sheet in 15 at home in the league. I expect West Ham to score a couple of goals and United to have little response.

Selection 5: Southampton vs Manchester City Best Bet – Southampton +1.75 (AH)
The Asian line gives Southampton 1.75 goals in their match against Manchester City. That seems harsh for a Southampton side that has only lost one in five. St Mary’s is a difficult place to go these days. The Saints have only lost two of their last 15 home matches in the Premier League. They’re unbeaten in seven despite hosting sides like Tottenham and Leicester.
This is the big test and while Manchester City have been flawless in recent months, I sense they’ll drop points soon. It could be here but even if they don’t, 1.75 goals is a good cushion for the home side.

What is a Football Acca?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included.
