Sunday Acca Tips: March 19th

There are some huge fixtures across Europe this Sunday so having taken a closer look, I have picked out my three best bets. Putting them together for the bettingexpert Sunday acca. What a way to go into the international break with games from Ligue 1 in France and two from Serie A. Including the mouthwatering Derby d’Italia.

In this article:

Torino vs Napoli Preview

Italy, Serie A, Sunday, March 19th, 14:00 (UK)

Torino have registered consecutive wins in Serie A to keep their hopes of gatecrashing the European places alive. A 2-0 win at newly-promoted Lecce closed the gap to Atalanta in 6th place to just 5 points. The Granata have proven difficult to beat with just three defeats coming in their last 13 games in the Italian top flight. Stadio Olimpico di Torino has become a difficult place to visit. Ivan Jurić only saw his side beaten once in the last seven league games on home soil. However, this is by far the biggest test of those credentials Serie A has to offer.

Napoli once again flexed their attacking muscles in midweek. A 3-0 win at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona secured a 5-0 aggregate success over Eintracht Frankfurt and progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League. Their attention now returns to securing a first Scudetto since 1990.

Torino vs Napoli Best Bet

Napoli are an incredible 18 points clear at the top of Serie A in what already looks like an unassailable lead. Luciano Spalletti’s side arrive in Turin on the back of six consecutive away wins to nil. Victorious in an amazing 14 of 17 road trips this season, plundering 38 goals along the way.

That owes a great deal to the goalscoring talents of Victor Osimhen. The 24-year-old added two more goals to his tally in midweek. He now stands on 23 for the season. Those two in midweek broke a streak of two games without scoring – a drought by his standards for the season – after a sequence of nine successive goalscoring appearances. Expect him to go into the international break by featuring on the scoresheet once again.

  • Selection: Victor Osimhen to Score Anytime
  • Best Odds: 2.75 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Reims vs Marseille Preview

France, Ligue 1, Sunday, March 19th, 19:45 (UK)

The fairy-tale story of Will Still continues to roll relentlessly on. Formerly unheralded when placed in situ as Stade de Reims manager, he is certainly on the radar now. Stories have appeared linking him with a return to boyhood club West Ham. All as a result of an incredible unbeaten run of 19 league matches. The latest of which came at 4th-placed Champions League-chasing Monaco. The 1-0 success was a sixth successive clean sheet in the French top flight. All of which means Les Rouges et Blancs go into this weekend just four points off the European places.

2nd-placed Marseille are a distant 10 points adrift of PSG at the top of Ligue 1. Their focus will be to remain in the top 2 and secure their place in the Champions League group stages for next season. Les Olympiens tossed two points away last weekend. Despite holding a 2-0 lead over Strasbourg with two minutes of normal time remaining. A Jean-Eudes Aholou brace in the closing moments remarkably salvaged a point for Frédéric Antonetti’s side.

Reims vs Marseille Best Bet

Marseille bring to Stade Auguste-Delaune an impressive seven-game winning streak away from home. With four clean sheets in that sequence too. With both sides’ resolute defence in full effect, this looks like a tight encounter. Especially considering the excellent form Reims and Marseille have been showing.

  • Selection: Reims or Draw Double Chance and Under 4 Goals
  • Best Odds: 2.05 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 5/10

Inter vs Juventus Preview

Italy, Serie A, Sunday, March 19th, 19:45 (UK)

Inter have two extra days to recover from their heroic defensive performance against Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday night. I Nerazzurri reached their first quarter-final in the competition in 12 years following the 0-0 stalemate. Simone Inzaghi’s side survived a late flurry of Porto attacks in injury time. The frame of the goal was struck twice with André Onana making at least one world class save. It was certainly the response Inzaghi looked for following a terrible 2-1 defeat to Spezia in their last league game. A performance which the manager said would give him and his team a sleepless night.

Dušan Vlahović and Federico Chiesa both scored in Germany on Thursday as Juventus followed up their 1-0 Europa League win in Turin. Inflicting a first home defeat on Freiburg since August. The Bianconeri have now chalked up six wins from their last seven matches.

Inter vs Juventus Best Bet

A quick glance at the Serie A table doesn’t tell the full story. But for a 15-point deduction, 7th-placed Juventus would actually be above their hosts here in 2nd. The visitors certainly will not have given up on catching those in the European qualification places. While Inter’s eyes will be on the chasing pack behind them given there is only three points to Roma in 5th but a chasm of 18 points to Napoli ahead of them.

Expect a tight and cagy 247th renewal of Derby d’Italia with so much at stake. A slow start is expected given both teams’ exploits in Europe these past few days.

Inter have been drawing at halftime in six of their last seven games. While Juventus have gone into the interval all square in four of their last five. That would have been a full house but for Vlahović’s 45th-minute penalty on Thursday.

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL ACCA?

A  football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A  football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Premier League accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
