Horse Racing Sunday Premier League Treble Tips: 16th January 2022
There are five matches scheduled for Saturday 15th January and I’ve got Premier League acca tips for all of them. The highlight of the day is undoubtedly Manchester City vs Chelsea in the early kickoff. There may be 10 points difference between the two sides in the table but it’s still 1st vs 2nd. In this article, I’ve also got Premier League acca tips for the following matches:

Selection 1: West Ham vs Leeds – Over 3 Goals
It’s a repeat of last week’s FA Cup clash between these sides and I’m going for a very similar bet here. I just expect a lot of goals between West Ham and Leeds in this one. Both teams have scored in 70% of West Ham’s Premier League matches this season. That’s the highest figure in the league. Leeds are 2nd in that particular table at 68% so we should expect both sides to get on the scoresheet here. Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen have found some form for the Hammers and both look a good bet to find the net at any time.
Leeds have struggled defensively in recent weeks. They’ve let in 17 in their last five Premier League matches. They’ve only kept one clean sheet away from home in the Premier League all season long. I don’t think they’ll keep one here but I wouldn’t be surprised if they got a goal against this Hammers defence.
Selection 2: Liverpool vs Brentford – Over 2.75 Goals
I’m going for over on goals here. Liverpool will be without a number of key players for this one with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane at the Africa Cup of Nations. This was always going to be the big test for the Reds this season to prove their title credentials. I think they’ll have to go for an even more attacking approach as they can’t rely on the individual brilliance of their two best attackers.
They’ve still got plenty of talent to come in. Diogo Jota is amongst the top scorers in the Premier League this season and Roberto Firmino should also feature. Brentford have conceded goals freely in recent matches and I expect them to let in another few here. I went for over on total goals rather than a Liverpool handicapped win because I can see the Bees getting on the scoresheet too.

Selection 3: Tottenham vs Arsenal – Arsenal +0.25 (AH)
I’m backing the visitors in the North London Derby. Both sides are missing key players but I just feel that Son is a bigger loss for Tottenham than the midfield absentees are for the Gunners. It’s a difficult one. Arsenal will be without Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny who are at the Africa Cup of Nations. They would have relied heavily on Granit Xhaka had the Swiss midfielder not been sent off during Thursday’s EFL Cup match against Liverpool. That leaves a lot of pressure on the shoulders of youngster Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Spurs will be without star man Heung-Min Son. The South Korean international will miss several weeks through injury which affects things here. Son has been Tottenham’s key man in North London Derbies in recent years. He’s got three goals and two assists in his last four appearances against Arsenal. He’s overtaken Harry Kane as Tottenham’s main man in these matches. I think his loss gives Arsenal a great chance of getting a result here – especially after seeing their defensive solidity against Liverpool in midweek.
