Bournemouth vs Leicester Preview
England, Premier League, Saturday, October 8th 15:00 (UK)
It’s been a season to forget so far in the opening stages for Brendan Rodgers and his Leicester side but I’m backing them to come out firing once again as they head to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Despite scoring 14 times across the opening eight Premier League fixtures, the Foxes have just four points to show for themselves. Three of those were gathered in their previous outing after dismantling new boys, Nottingham Forest on Monday night.
Bournemouth have had a respectable start to the campaign given that they were written off before a ball was kicked. Still, they have conceded the second most goals in the division. Gary O’Neil’s men have leaked multiple times in four fixtures this season.
Bournemouth vs Leicester Best Bet
This is all about Leicester here, they should not be in the position that they are in and I fancy them to have plenty of joy in front of Bournemouth’s goal on the South Coast.
The selection gives some value as Leicester look to kickstart their season off. With the attacking quality they possess, scoring twice or more looks likely.
- Selection: Leicester 2+ Goals (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 2.00 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10

Stranraer vs Elgin Preview
Scotland, League 2, Saturday, October 8th, 15:00 (UK)
Heading to the Scottish League 2 with my second selection as goals look a terrific bet here given these sides’ eventful starts to the league season.
The hosts have played nine times this campaign. They have scored 14 and conceded 18 times so far with the upcoming selection landing in seven games from nine and in all of the previous seven.
Elgin have played eight games in the league since late July, they have scored 18 and conceded 15 goals with the selection paying out in every game except one.
Stranraer vs Elgin Best Bet
The stats speak for themselves in this one and at the price on offer for another entertaining 90 minutes definitely warrants a play.
These sides met in round four of the league season, it ended 2-2 that day so I’m hoping for a repeat once again.
- Selection: BTTS / Over 2.5 Goals (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 2.05 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10
Getafe vs Real Madrid Preview
Spain, La Liga, Saturday, October 8th, 20:00 (UK)
Spain is the destination next as a trip to Coliseum Alfonso Perez is on the cards on Saturday night. Getafe host Real Madrid in a game where both sides could quite possibly find the back of the net.
Los Blancos sit 2nd, only behind rivals Barcelona on goal difference but things haven’t been that straightforward in the league this campaign. BTTS has banked in every game the current champions have played in and the home side should gain confidence from that stat.
The hosts have scored in five games from seven this season and multiple times in back to back games in front of the home fans.
Getafe vs Real Madrid Best Bet
Real Madrid are strong favourites to win this clash. The price on offer for both sides to find the back of the net at a tad under evens catches the eye.
Given it’s yet to lose in the Spanish top flight this campaign, I’m willing to get behind both sides scoring in a Real Madrid match once again. Los Blancos are an attacking threat but have been suspect in defensive areas since the opening day.
- Selection: Yes on BTTS
- Best Odds: 1.95 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10

Montpellier vs Monaco Preview
France, Ligue 1, Sunday, October 9th, 12:00 (UK)
My first selection on Sunday sees us head to the Stade de la Mosson in France as Montpellier welcome Monaco at midday.
Two sides who have been right amongst the goals in the French top flight in the early stages meet where another high-scoring affair could quite possibly be on the cards. The home side have scored 21 times in just nine matches this season, they have scored in every game whilst keeping just two clean sheets.
Monaco haven’t been quite as entertaining as their opponents but have still seen 30 match goals in nine matches so far this season.
Montpellier vs Monaco Best Bet
The proposed selection has landed in seven games from nine involving the home side and five times in nine for Philippe Clement’s side.
Given both clubs have scored in 18/18 combined games this season we could be in for a lunchtime treat on Sunday, a backable price is on offer which makes this my fourth selection in this preview.
- Selection: BTTS / Over 2.5 Goals (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 1.83 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10

Barcelona vs Celta Vigo Preview
Spain, La Liga, Sunday, October 9th, 20:00 (UK)
Barcelona lead the Spanish top flight after a strong start to the league season, they have scored the most and conceded the fewest after seven games. I am backing them to have plenty of joy against an inconsistent Celta side.
The hosts have scored 19 times in the early stages, scoring three or more in five matches and will look to put in a much better performance at Camp Nou than what they did in the San Siro on Tuesday night.
Celta have conceded 13 times so far. They aren’t strangers to leaking goals either as Eduardo Coudet’s side have conceded three or more times in three matches this season already including a 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid in gameweek two.
Barcelona vs Celta Vigo Best Bet
Xavi’s side should have a field day at home. Robert Lewandowski is in ridiculous scoring form so it’ll be a shock if he doesn’t find himself on the scoresheet.
The hosts scored exactly three goals in both games against their upcoming opponents last season so a repeat of that would be excellent. Overall, the Barca squad has improved massively since then also.
- Selection: Barcelona 3+ Goals
- Best Odds: 2.10 (bet365)
- Stakes: 7/10

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL ACCA?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
